This trail has lots of smaller “sub-trails” which are also pretty nice to walk on if you don’t want to walk the full 7 mile trail.

White Oak Creek Greenway

well kept up trail.

Took a bike ride from David Drive to the American Tobacco trail and back. This trail is narrower than what I am used to in Connecticut but on those trails many go to fast, this was a more relaxing ride. Found the trail to be well taken care of and few people using it. On the return where the trail goes under highway 55 they could use signs for which trail goes in each direction. Most other intersections are marked.

Shady welcoming nature trail

This trail meanders through some pretty tree lined views, and wetlands. Nice people not too crowded and you get to entertain friendly wildlife that watch you walk by.

This trail was fun up and over highway! Busy with bikers, walkers and runners on Sunday morning we rode.

Neuse River Trail

Great ride last week on the Neuse River Trail!

Started at Anderson Point in east Raleigh and rode south down past Battle Bridge Rd tunnel - which is pretty cool in itself - and then turned around, ate lunch back at Anderson Point and then rode north. So two out-and-backs from Anderson Point. Rode 27 miles in all.

Neuse River Trail

GREAT Trail

May, 2021 by kelly.kathleen.duggan

Not a lot to see, it’s about 30 ft from the water with a tree line blocking the view, but it does have some great bridges and the paved trail is well kept

American Tobacco Trail

Phenomenal

Great trail to run during the day! Well kept and has great entry/exit points with a lot of parking. It doesn’t have street lights so I wouldn’t run it at night!
