Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail

Very nice

June, 2017 by dflong_tl

Drove from Huntsville AL to this trail. Very nice ride. I thought it was worth the ride up. Very shaded. Nice tree tunnels. Bridges along the way were beautiful. The main bridge is super neat and beautiful. We rode the full trail. All 13 miles. 3.7 paved and 3 unpaved one way.. Nice views of river. Only negative is lots of tree roots made for bumping ride even on paved area. Gravel area needs some up keep and attention. Nice trailhead with good parking.

Great place to walk

I love to walk this trail. The dog owners are not cleaning up after pets.

Boardwalks in the Woods - North Section

June, 2017 by ajw

We parked at Riverpoint park, and rode to the end where it turns to gravel (just past Bonny Oaks Dr.). 10mi round trip. They must have spent a mint on this trail. It is full of long boardwalks built in the woods on the banks of the river. Shaded with lots of scenery. Restrooms, water at Riverpoint park. Lots of ups and downs. Combine with Riverwalk trail for 22mi roundtrip.

Chattanooga Riverwalk (Tennessee Riverpark)

Well Done

June, 2017 by ajw

We parked at Riverpoint park and rode the S.Chickamauga trail (see review there), then rode the Riverwalk east to the dam. Then turned around and rode the Riverwalk west to the Patten tennis club. The trail goes up a hill there, so we turned around and went back to Riverpoint parking. 12mi roundtrip on Riverwalk, 10mi roundtrip on S.Chick for a 22mi day. Trail is well maintained with lots of restrooms and water. It is shaded most of the way, and runs along the river with lots of good scenery. Tip: this is not a rail-trail, so there are some ups and downs, turns, and it can be a bit narrow and congested in parts.

Tennessee Central Heritage Rail Trail

An Easy Ride

May, 2017 by andrerx

Nine miles of easy riding! For folks coming from Fairfield Glade this is very welcome. There are three access points with parking and restrooms: the depot end, the Algood Community center at the other end and Cinderella park about halfway on the trail. The scenery is not the best. That and the need more signage is why I rated it only four stars. The depot end is worth extra time for a stop for history and food. Overall, I like it and will do it again with friends. Congrats to Cookville.

Mill Creek Greenway (TN)

great connector trail

May, 2017 by tenscsteve

I really enjoy the peacefulness of this Trail. What really makes it great though is that it allows you to connect to all the stores located in Lenox Village and others along the way on Nolensville Pike. You can also easily get to Kroger and Concord Road from there if you cross the street onto Bluff Road you can continue on that into some of the trails in Brentwood.

Eureka Trail

SURFACE

May, 2017 by rcheeze

I noticed that about 10 weeks ago (05-10-2017) some type of grader was run along the surface. It dislodged all of the larger rocks that had been tamped down into the bed of the track. It is now very rough and unpleasant to ride. Leave it alone!!!

Beatiful Trail

I love rails-to-trails and this one is a beauty. I run instead of bike so i did 7 miles that took you by creeks, mountains, and ponds. Awesome morning.

Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail

Best Trail By Far

May, 2017 by courtney990

There are not enough words to describe this trail! Saw few snakes, the rock formations and uniquely form trees were more than a sight to see! The trail seems longer than 6 miles but well worth every step. Mother nature at its finest.

Clarksville Greenway

Tranquil

May, 2017 by courtney990

One of the best walking paths in Clarksville! Very tranquil, lots of birds and deer to see. Part B of the greenway is more difficult due the hills and curves. The greenway combined is 10 miles. And will be extended in near future.

Springfield Greenway

Amazing!

May, 2017 by courtney990

Extremely unique and beautiful trail. Love visiting the ducks/geese. However few kids ruined the enjoyment by kicking one. But the trail loops around the town, and it is actually longer if you visit the soccer field and distillery. Kid and pet friendly ;)
