Asphalt ends, gravel begins, Clarksburg Branch Line Trail
After about 1.25 miles of asphalt, the trail continues as a gravel path. At this point, there is a shopping center to the right with connecting paths to it.
Perhaps, West Sacramento can pave more of the path under CA's 'Active Transportation Program'.
