Riverwalk Greenway (Pigeon Forge)

bridge out

May, 2025 by jskibi_tl

The bridge is out by patriot park so the trail is now only about .8 miles long, and it is not very well marked

Gatlinburg Trail (Great Smoky Mountains National Park)

Beautiful Trail

April, 2025 by leahfoxwell

The trail itself is a definite 5-star experience—beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for exploring with kids. The bridges and the walk along the river were serene and made for a fun adventure. However, I’m giving it 4 stars due to the parking situation. It was a bit tricky to find a spot, but once we figured it out and luckily found a quieter area near one of the less crowded trail entrances, the rest of the visit was fantastic.

We love walking this trail. You have the quiet walk in the woods. Wide paths. We walk through thr woods and then walk by the water and around the outside loop. One of our go to places to walk.

Tweetsie Trail

A little Sketchy

March, 2025 by mandy.smith2020

The trail is well maintained. You are mostly riding through town. The last 3-4 miles are a little sketchy. You are riding behind and in between factories. Nice ride overall if you’re just looking for somewhere to ride your bike.

Tweetsie Trail

Nice trail

September, 2024 by hippykamp

Very nice trail that is well maintained. Expect to see lots of other trail users as this is heavily used. Be aware that due to the type of gravel used your bicycle will get very dusty but don’t let that stop you from enjoying this ride

Wilderness Road Trail

great ride. very enjoyable

Got to see the buffalo (plus). Nice shady ride Parked at visitor center and rode both ways and back. Rode 14 miles total.

Powell River Trail

Easy trail along the river

August, 2024 by dh676x6zw2

I love being outside and the sound of the river and the trees are wonderful. Being paved, it is comfortable to be on even after it had rained as opposed to a muddy trail, so I really liked that. There is plenty of parking with overflow parking across the street.

Kingsport Greenbelt

hometown trail

Front start to finish and back is 20 miles. You will see homeless people but they will not bother you at all. In the summer months parts of the trail can flood if we get a lot of rain. But you have get some really good shaded areas to cool off and there is also so up hill areas but not bad at all. Good trail to get some exercise!

Wilderness Road Trail

One of our favorites

June, 2024 by c6nnhdk4bd

We road this trail with some friends today. Ages ranged from 47-71. It was a nice, cool, refreshing bike ride. Nice and straight with no hills. Favorite part was the old fort and the history we learned while there. One thing is that the map on this app is wrong as to where it begins and ends. We actually parked at the visitor center to the fort and road the trail because where the map shows it was not correct.

Veterans Boulevard Greenway

Unpleasant

May, 2024 by tmassey1

The Veterans Boulevard greenway in Sevierville is no more than an extra large sidewalk…on the side of a busy highway. It’s very unpleasant to ride with lots of traffic whizzing by. There is also nowhere to park at the trailhead, so the best options put a rider having to navigate some busy intersections and impatient drivers. However, there is a connection to another trail at the intersection with Middle Creek Road and although it isn’t very long it is at least pleasant. Also, the cover image for this trail is incorrect. That bridge is nowhere to be seen on this trail.

Gatlinburg Greenway

Don't bother

April, 2024 by jme_cox

This is a 0.3 mile long, 8' wide asphalt paved offset 50' and parallel to a public road. To call this a "greenway" is a bit silly.
