Trinity Forest and AT&T Trails

Another super Texas trail!

April, 2025 by dpate

I rode the Trinity Forest and AT&T trail on a weekday in early April 2025. It was a very windy day but there is a lot of cover and shade. There were some flooded low points but very passable. I saw only 4 hikers in the 19 miles I rode. I highly recommend checking this trail out. This is a super trail that deserves 5 stars!

Waxahachie Creek Hike & Bike Trail

Super trail!

April, 2025 by dpate

I road the Waxahachie Creek trail in early April 2025 on a beautiful sunny day. This is a short but great trail. It is smooth cement the entire way mostly winding through woods. I am not sure that it's quite six miles. A very enjoyable trail that I rate FIVE stars!

Duck Creek Trail (TX)

Must go again!

June, 2022 by scenesk8r2517

We took our E-boards out to this trail today. The pathway is was fun and has plenty of inclines and winding turns. Great scenery to look at all around. Very good size Trail, for the most part it was well maintained, will absolutely be going back again.

Great trails for walking or biking

April, 2022 by ljhaygood

Beautiful place to walk in South Tyler. Plenty of shade and scenery walking alongside an old railroad path. Perfect for exercise and lots of fresh air.

Tyler Legacy Trails

Nice shaded trail with benches at both ends and at the half way mark. They now have bicycle tool/air stations at both ends and water fountains but no restrooms yet. Will be a great trail when expanded.

Waxahachie Creek Hike & Bike Trail

Best All Around

Started at Lions Club on a Sunday, no traffic, easy to park! Lots of activity on trail, not for speed biking but still enough room for everyone. I agree with other review about trail markings. I wish all did a better job. The construction was still happening but we had a trail clearly marked to navigate through it. When you get to the cemetery keep going, the trail picks up on the other side. When you're coming from the big city park and you come to the basketball court and parking lot, turn, go over the bridge. New parking lot and pretty sidewalk art trail takes you across the street. Adventurous, a little curvy and lots of beauty!

Beautiful park with nice wide paths. Connected to Runyon Park Trail for an even longer, more challenging ride/walk. Wonderful bridges over running creek with an occasional waterfall and schools of fish. Some challenging hills and corners with mixed shade and sunshine. Super fun, rewarding bike ride. Don't think we saw the complete trail. Will go back again and explore.
