Beautiful little rail-to-trail. Connects with Sumiton trail. Peaceful ride.
Great walking trail. There was beautiful fall leaves all around. Great activities along the way for children to do.
Nice ride but some of the pavement was extra bumpy. Great fall views.
This is a great, flat, mostly shady trail, and way less busy than Red Mountain or Vulcan on the weekends. The whole family had fun. Dad pulled our 4 year old in the bike trailer, our 12 year old thought it was great, and I loved it. Highly recommend. About 10-11 miles round trip, and there’s a playground near the start of the trail, too.
Rode this trail last week. Quite a few people on the trail mainly walking but was still able to ride the bike without any slowdowns.
Rode this trail last week. 1st mile is asphalt, 2nd is packed gravel (depending on which end you start) nice trail, ample amount of shade, great views of the city.
Rode my bike here a few weeks ago. Only a few people on the trail that day. Some shady areas to help stay cool from the sun. A little elevation just to make the ride worthwhile. Very enjoyable trail for a bike ride.
Rode my bike on this trail a few weeks ago. Very few people on the trail that day. Has areas with shade.
Sometimes you don't know how intense of a hike you prefer until you're there. About a half mile in, there's a trail up to the top of the mountain. Stay on the flat, gravel trail if you're not feeling it.
