This is a great trail. It has many access points to the river which my dog loved. She began recognizing the access points because she loves the water. Not too busy on Celebrate Trails Day. Only passed a few people. Beautiful trail to enjoy water, flowers, quiet, and nature!
Great trail for our first RTC bike. Trail nicely maintained. Saw some wildlife and great views of the river.
We biked the Jackson River Scenic Trail in a day, out and back. Beautiful trail! We stayed at Rosewood Manor in Covington, which gave us easy access to trail head. We were so hungry biking and stumbled across “Restaurant” sign, near a gazebo. We biked a bit (1/2mike) crossing an old, but safe bridge and up a bit of a hill to discover the golf course bar/grill. Good bar food, friendly staff, cold beer. We were so happy to find food! Check it out! We highly recommend it!
What a gem, started in Interval, very nice bathrooms to change in with a water station. The trail surface is well groomed. Gentle grade, mostly shaded, wildlife along the trail. good for all abilities.
Very steep section and ends at a fence
Trail is gravel the whole way. No 2 lane dirt road. There are no service areas at all. Great bike shop that helped me with my flat. The bridge is scenic. The rest is not. Pretty flat and no significant hills. Stayed at an old hotel that had a rooftop bar. Farmington is a cool town.
Mostly level ride, beautiful artwork, poppy, lily flowers , containers along way. Bathroom at a park. Ride next to Black Dog Salvage too!! Restaurants.
Nice trail. Fantastic view along the river. Rode my recumbent trike and found the trail enjoyable
A new thru truss bridge has been constructed over the River A road detour is no longer required
Excellent ride on a well maintained crushed stone trail. We did the whole trail on recumbent trikes. Definitely would recommend to all cyclists.
