I biked the entire trail from Ott Road in Brillion to Porlier Street in Green Bay. For the first 12 miles, the trail surface was crushed stone, well-maintained and somewhat shaded from trees on either side of the trail or both. There was a mile marker on the west side of the trail every mile starting with the "20" mile marker. Occasionally, there were some patches of grass down the center of the trail. There were also country roads to cross every mile or so, but all but one were not busy.
At Lasee Road, the trail changed to a well-maintained asphalt surface that continued for the next 12 miles. The trail was nicely shaded under a canopy of trees. There were cracks running parallel to the direction of travel, but these were not very deep and did not pose a problem.
The real prize was the park-like setting of the trail from De Pere to Green Bay. The trail was sandwiched between the Fox River to the west and the manicured lawns of the local elite to the east.
This is one of my favorite trails!
One of my favorites! Well packed, some hills and curves. A section with cedars on either side, another section where the trees form a canopy above. Truly enjoyable, ending at Point Beach where you can watch the waves of Lake Michigan crash in on a sandy beach. 5-stars for sure!
Trail is completely overgrown about a half mile from the western end. We ended up skipping this trail entirely.
I biked from Manitowoc to Two Rivers and back. The trail was well maintained and well marked. The views were spectacular. The road noise was not as bad as a previous review. There was no clear indication of where trail began and where it ended.
This is one of the smoothest riding trails you will find anywhere. Abundant marker posts so you always know how far to the next town. The stretch from Denmark to Maribel is mostly wooded, while the stretch south of that has more agriculture.
First time on this trail and it was a nice ride. My husband and I rode the whole trail starting from the south end to Denmark and back. There were a couple parks along the way as well as a bench here and there. Trees, rolling fields and a few bridges were the highlights of the scenery but the thing I enjoyed the most was how quiet it was. Even the roads we had to cross were quiet. The trail is very well kept and very well marked (quarter mile markers too).
I rode a recumbent trike from Howard to Pulaski. The trail was in good condition and a fairly smooth ride.
We parked by the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and rode bike path on Packerlamd until the end. We then double backed to do the loop and circled back to our car. Strava said 9.27 miles but we did go off path a little to check out industrial park.
This is just a short trip from point beach down to two rivers but it’s a fun trail to run. Many small rolling hills and curves! We have e-bikes so not much of a work out but it sure is a fun trail. By far my favorite little trail this year!
Very nice and well maintained. I really enjoy this trail.
Part of the trail has been resurfaced and all of the trail was in great shape. A beautiful ride along the Fox river.
