I-215 West Beltway Trail

The trail is about 15 miles as of 11/2020

November, 2020 by danignosci

Super fun bike and pedestrian trail. The path is much wider than most. Almost 1900 elevation if you ride the entire trail out and back. Was windy at times but an excellent challenge.

Roadrunner Trail

Can Make a Loop.

October, 2020 by acewickwire

Location: Mesquite, NV
Parking: There are a number of nice parks along the trail with plenty of parking.
Trail Condition: Very good with wide pavement. There is one very narrow underpass at Mesquite Blvd on the east side of the loop. It is dark and there was some boxes of trash that could easily have been run into if not using caution. Consider using street crossing, not that much traffic.
Signage: Plenty of signs and trail easy to follow.
Comments: This is a nice loop through Mesquite passing through a number of nice parks. One of the parks had a spray fountain for the kids to play in. I made a loop of the trail, on the north end of the trail there is a short gap of no trail but can easily go along street to reconnect to trail. It is a very short distance and very little street traffic.

Bunkerville Bicycle and Pedestrian Trail

Follows the Highway

October, 2020 by acewickwire

Location: Mesquite, NV
Parking: Parked on side street close to start of trail in Mesquite. Wide street with plenty of room to park.
Trail Condition: Most excellent! Very wide concrete and great condition.
Signage: Look down…trail name and distance stamped into concrete at different intervals.
Comments: TrailLink trail map is incorrect at the Bunkerville end of trail. Trail continues along the highway and not into town as indicated by map. The trail then ends at N 2nd W street. The streets of Bunkerville have recently been repaved and looks like a pretty quiet place, so easy enough to ride in town but that isn’t the trail. This is a nice trail, with a historical marker off the side of the trail indicating the area was part of the Old Spanish Trail.

I-215 West Beltway Trail

great bicycle trail!

July, 2020 by jojobearded

This is a great bicycle route. Runs along the 215 and crosses very few streets without bridges. Would give 5 stars if there was better parking at the beginning of route.

River Mountains Loop Trail

Aewsome Trail Network! Very Scenic!

June, 2020 by sergio.zava

I rode from Vegas via the Wetlands paths & trail connectors to River Mountain Loop. I started just after 6am & it was already mid 70’s. Once Getting to the trail head is was pretty smooth sailing. Definitely recommend doing trail clock wise if you looking for more of a scenic view. Bike path has great signage to keep you from getting lost. Definitely an early morning ride for the month of June! You don’t want to get stuck out without water. The path riding through Lake Mead are twisty and the decent can make for a technical down hill. (@ high speeds) Watch your speed around the turn as there is gravel that gets kicked up on the path from the winds. After Lake Mead you start the climb into Boulder City and it’s a gradually grade for miles and the bike path shares a storm drain. There is water but nothing crazy, Easily rideable. Not exactly sure on the elevation gain since I rode in from town but you definitely have some gains! Awesome trail to check out!

I-215 West Beltway Trail

Great Trail

June, 2020 by jaredjc777

This trail is actually longer than 11.4 miles. It goes from W. Tropicana Ave. and CR 215 to Centennial Pkwy. Add about 5 miles.

Cactus Wren Trail

beautiful landscaping

June, 2020 by dee.finlinson519

A peaceful trail with natural desert plants along the way. A fun way to go from 215 up to Saint Rose rather than going along Eastern.

Lower Las Vegas Wash Trail

I enjoyed the ride. There were several bridges to cross over the major roads. The trail was blocked at Alexander Road. Apparently some construction is going on.
