… between Wieuca and Loridans roads. Note that the extension starts west of Ga 400, making it necessary to cross the bridge over 400 from the previous end east of 400. Well-shaded route through a valley to cross under 400 and a creek en route to Loridans. Still no markers to navigate through the Tower Place area between Peachtree & Lenox roads. Inquire locally for details.
The Old Town Conyers Trail is such a hidden gem! It’s a nice, easy trail that’s perfect whether you’re looking for a peaceful walk, a light workout, or just some time to unwind. There’s so much beautiful nature to take in along the way — from the trees to the quiet surroundings, it really gives you a chance to slow down and enjoy the moment. Definitely a great spot if you want something low-impact but still refreshing and scenic. I’ll absolutely be back! ¿¿
Walked starting from the Gwinnett environmental and heritage center, but couldn’t get to other end of Greenway as planned because they are currently rebuilding a bridge where the trail turns to go toward the Mall of GA. Instead, did the stretch down to the suspension bridge plus the Wildlife Observation Loop Trail and still achieved 4.6 miles. Not sure when the new bridge will open but looks like they are making good progress.
The parking for this trail is in the parking lot for Old Town, but the trail starts 1 block south of old town
I rode the Powder springs to Hiram area on a Sunday. I parked at Dillard St. connector. A few parking spots available. That was an easy, pleasant ride. I also parked at the Rambo nursery TH, off highway 6. This was a good spot for ride across the Pumpkinvine Trestle bridge and the Brushy Mountain Tunnel. There were many massive boulders along this stretch which made for an unexpected, beautiful ride.
I also rode from Cedartown Train depot towards Rockmart and quickly encountered hills and big elevation changes. I rode only a few miles and returned to start. This was also a remote area once out of Cedartown, either direction. Check your sources for all elevation changes along trail.
I rode the Chief Ladiga Trail in early March. It was a beautiful day. I started at the Eubanks Welcome Center and parked there. I rode to just inside the “Welcome to Anniston” sign. I pedaled about the campus in Jacksonville, then returned to start. Enjoyed the ride and bought a Ladiga T-shirt from the welcome center ladies. I met some friendly local ladies and a fellow biker along the way.
Wonderful trail. Not real busy. Enjoyed the birds and frog sounds along the walk. Very relaxing.
Love this trail. Several flowing water creeks to view!
We ride this trail often and can't wait till more is added.

Wonderful Greenbelt with plenty miles...we got 29m out of it. One broken up spot, but manageable. Great downtown area restaurants.
