Tried the trail in March. I started at Centennial Park and was very excited. Rode 20 miles and was only on the actual trail for about 2 miles (once I found the trail). I got to the east belt junction and couldn’t find signs. Went the wrong way and ended up back at the park. Attempted it again in May this time I thought I would start at Stone Mountain, that didn’t work either. First lack of parking lots second lack of signage. I gave up and biked around the mountain twice.
We had a fun time on the paved road with the baby in the stroller. Awesome restaurants in the area and public bathrooms!
Love this mostly flat trail not too much of a challenge for the casual rider. Weekends are super busy so be prepared. Otherwise this is my favorite trail.
Looking for a moderately challenging workout ride, THIS TRAIL IS FOR YOU!! No steep inclines or anything but fair amount of gentle elevation changes balanced by plenty of level ground if you looking for just a relaxing ride. BEAUTIFUL scenery, very well populated with individuals , couples and families both on foot and biking.
Rode from Panola Mountain Nature office to the Monastery. Great payment! One of my favorites.
Nice trail pavement. Lots of rest stops if needed. Will return in future.
Peaceful and scenic ride along the river. The pavement in great condition. Will return again.
Rode from Jimmy Carter Center to Avalon Station. Nice layout but the trail aprons need maintenance and improved signage is needed. I will return to finish the remaining portion to Stone Mountain.
Fun and challenging during each trip. One of my favorite tracks.
