Blackstone River Greenway

Pleasantly surprised

May, 2021 by bmackey963

I was pleasantly surprised that trail had been repaved or at least repaired. Most of the tree limbs and frost heaves are now gone. Pretty ride made better by surface upgrade - thanks

Shining Sea Bikeway

Absolutely Beautiful Trail!

May, 2021 by joyce.meaden

I agree will all of the others, this is a BEAUTIFUL trail. It is all asphalt, and flat. The views are breathtaking!

We are glad we took the day trip and drove an hour+ to get there.

We parked at Depot St, and there was plenty of parking (May 13, 2021 late morning)

Cape Cod Canal Bikeway

Beautiful but windy

May, 2021 by christaylor2427

Check the weather for this one, it’s always beautiful and I come here often for inline skating. The wind can play a huge factor! If you’re looking for a good challenge skating this is a good spot. Often times it will balance out, Windy and tough one way but smooth and quick the other. Overall I enjoying coming here and start at the Sagamore bridge, go down to the train bridge, make a loop at buzzards bay park, then make my way back.

Neponset River Greenway

nice trail.

Good bike path. Easy to access for a short ride. I saw bridges, streams, old chocolate factory, the non-stop old metro trains. Not too crowded.

World War II Veterans Memorial Trail

Its a very nice clean and smooth bike path great for scootering rollerblading and biking. We really enjoyed it. They have some park bench and trash barrels which are always appreciated!

loved this trail, starts off with beautiful bridge, then follows along the shore, several ice cream shops on the way

Bridle Trail

Quiet, hidden trail. No obstructions and could navigate well on snowpacked gravel trail. Was a relaxing walk as there were no unleashed dogs or unmasked people.

Really Accessible!

If you are using a manual or electric wheelchair, park at the Fruit Street entrance (airport end). If you park in the municipal lot, you will need to cross a busy street and go over a small patch of grass/gravel to get to the path. This trail is flat, smooth, and the people (and their dogs) are friendly!

Parked in West Warwick next to rev dept tennis courts. Hopped on trail right there. Rode in direction toward Coventry. Interesting mix of residential, industrial, mills, rural areas. Clean, level and super fun.

Phoenix Bike Trail

Pleasant surprise at end of trail

November, 2020 by maddyk

I started at the historic fort phoenix on green street admiring the different architecture of the homes. Ride was easy, not crowded, just a bit too short. But a pleasant surprise after talking with fellow bikers. At the end of the phoenix trail, take a right onto Mattapoisett neck road, 1/2 mile on left is a cove, picnic tables overlooking the harbor. Continuing on Mattapoisett neck road 1.5 miles into a cul de sac, on the right there is a wooded trail you can bike to the water with a view of Brandt island.
The only reason i gave it a 3 was because i like a longer bike trail
