Yellow River Trail

Short and relaxing

September, 2019 by sue.samuel

Nice, short walk through the woods and along the river. Perfect for a quick and quiet walk with the dog.

Ocmulgee Heritage Trail

Great Trail

September, 2019 by dhisrael

This trail is nearly level compared to other trails that are reviewed. The Northern end at The Water Park is very well maintained and a great place for kids, birthday parties, and community functions. The Southern End is to be linked soon but at present that is a promise.
The Southern End extends from the Spring Street Bridge north a bit but certainly goes South from there to the Ocmulgee National Park. This lower part is new to me and truly a wonderful ride, hike, run or walk. It parallels the River and the Interstate 16 with many bridges over creeks and marshes. It is highly recommended.
From the Boat Ramp at the Spring Street Bride to the Great Temple Mound is about 3 miles. Many prefer to park at the Great Temple Mound and walk North as security is a bit better. But, don't get locked-in!

South Peachtree Creek Trail

We bought in this neighborhood because of trail!

August, 2019 by satellitefarm_tl

We bought our house back in 2008, because of this trail. Well that’s partially true¿¿ It’s been great to see all the growth and extensions on this trail. Back in 2008 the trail only went as far as the stone bridge before the railroad tracks. Now it’s a full blown trail that is simply beautiful! They did an outstanding job on this trail. They’ll even left the ruins of a water treatment village there! It’s got hiking trails that veer off and take you into the woods. It’s a treasure for this neighborhood!

Eastside Trail (Atlanta BeltLine)

excellent trail

August, 2019 by sjteacher11

Went for the first time today and was impressed. It was crowded with walkers. Bicycles, scooters, etc. but there was plenty of space for everyone.

Camp Creek Greenway

Great Ride

July, 2019 by rdhanson.atl

Google Maps directed me to this greenway when I was running (riding) an errand. I was using my rigid mountain bike with semi-slick tires (urban assault vehicle), which was perfect for this trail. It was 2 miles of peace and quiet on a 10 mile ride. Getting back on the road was a jolt. More please!

Westside Trail (Atlanta Beltline)

Seemed dicey

The trail head is in a run down neighborhood. I was afraid to leave my car there, so I turned around. Looking for a better spot to hop on the belt line.

Silver Comet Trail

WELSHfest in Rockmart

March, 2019 by maplover2

As part of a local heritage festival (Welshfest mid March annually) we checked out fest, music, tearoom, vendors, and biked from Rockmart to Coots Lake and back. Quick 10 miles RT and scenic. Loved the babbling creek, slate yards, craggy walls, tunnels, lake and caves. Cool stretch of trail from the best trail town on the route. Trailhead is on town square which offers South Marble coffee shop, Solis sandwich shop, Spice Street Cafe, cupcakery, museums, shops, a Slate House, green space, park, and weekly farmers market. Heard an airbnb is brewing. Meanwhile camping & mini cabins available at the Rock campground.

Proctor Creek Greenway

Don't Go Alone

March, 2019 by rmayertowing

I guess you could call this a trail. It's more like a path through an abandoned industrial park. Ladies - please don't walk behind these buildings by yourself.

Reeves Creek Trail

Great Little Trail!

I found this trail using this app. Great place if you are looking for a short trail to pace your self.

Peachtree City Multi-Use Paths

Mis understood

January, 2019 by wyslusher

I live here and I love it. But yes this is a golf cart community, sorry if anyone mis understood this. But the cart paths are for everyone, and I love riding them. There are some bike/ pedestrian trails that are in the woods that are scattered around the city, but not many.
