Enola Low Grade Trail

Midweek Marvel

May, 2023 by cindy.gerner.5

May 25th we rode 15 miles out and back from the Turkey Hill Preserve just off River Road. Crossing over both the Safe Harbor and Martic Trestles. Kudos to everyone who has made this trail what it is today. The condition of the trail is excellent. The trail is mostly flat both directions in the section we rode. There are plenty of wildlife especially birds including eagles and vultures. I highly recommend everyone to put this trail on their to do list.

Chestnut Street Trail

Walk, run, and bike

Good walk distance for pedestrians, also to have a short run for easy runners. You can go with kids and have the option to ride the bike with a trailer.

PennDel Trail

Very beautiful trails, but lots of ticks

May, 2023 by jejohnson2

We walked here for our first time and the family went went 3 hours. Trails are well maintained, nice river scenery, and clean! There is a sign about ticks, and we found 5 on us, but that was the only negative.

Canning House Run Trail

it’s a start

Basic walking “sidewalk” that’s only .8 mi, but a good start Parked at the Rodgers house. Bikes the .8 and back just to start my rambling in a new town If you follow the closed road behind Rodgers, and stay to the right,,you begin a road that goes behind lots of VA buildings to the left (fields between you and the bldgs, so it’s not like in a city , and the water to the right…very peaceful and quiet ride. Only goes maybe 3/4mi and ends at another closed (to cars)road that leads around the Perryville community park (one way, counter clockwise) and though there were families out, the road was basically deserted at 3p on a Sunday in May. It circles around the park and when u get to the opposite end of where you started, it’s the exit Technically a small winding road through the woods (fortunately onky came upon a couple of cars

Perkiomen Trail

Nice Trail RA

April, 2023 by gangof3757

I rode this trail in April 23 its a well maintained trail with plenty of areas to stop relax and buy food if you need to. Some busy rode crossings but no big deal not as remote as the Schuylkill River trail but nice mostly flat riding except for the large hill around Spring Mont I had no problem following trail fairly well marked really enjoyed it!

Port Richmond Trail

was not feeling it

April, 2023 by sheilahalf1007

Went to Pulaski Park greeted by loud music, people hanging out at the entrance. Driving there passes so much trash, abandoned properties but was still going to try the ride. Parking at the park and then to ride the street for a little we just weren’t feeling it so passed.

Love this trail. Crushed stone, flat, maintained. Plenty of benches to stop and rest.

Delaware River Trail

First ride of the season, not my favorite trail. Sketchy at the end by trailhead, narrow, homeless encampments, weird fenced areas.
