Silver Comet Trail

Love riding on the Silver Trail great for me. Those of us who have to ride in wheelchairs, come on out to the trails and enjoy the fresh air. You will love it.

Chief Ladiga Trail

Piedmont to the GA line

September, 2020 by swgross

A great ride with lots of shade and beautiful scenery. The trail only has slight inclines, so no big hills to climb and overall the trail is well kept. However, there are a few places where tree roots have lifted the asphalt - these were marked once but are hard to see until you’re right up on them. It was a very nice, relaxing day on a fairly easy trail.

Heritage Park Trail

Needs to be Resurfaced

September, 2020 by oldnslow1

I have rode the trail numerous times and it is getting in worst shape. A lot of bumps where roots have grown under the asphalt causing it to rise up. ROME -----Please keep the maintenance up and the cut back the brush so people can see the River..

South Chickamauga Creek Greenway

very scenic, boardwalks slippery

September, 2020 by mlcbear

Very nice trail, away from traffic , not busy. We headed out around 9:30 am. It had rained overnight. A couple of the wooden board walks were like oil. I went down twice. By the time we road to the end & turned around only the one was still slick. If it has rained I would recommend riding this in the afternoon. It is almost completed shaded, so it would be rideable. My only other complaint is there were a couple places trees had taken out part of the railing. At one it had taken out the flooring. I would have given this 5 stars, if not for needed repairs & slick boards. out part of the boardwalk

Big Creek Greenway

Great Ride Monday thru Friday

September, 2020 by jdozier821

This trail is marvelous for nature lovers and serious riders...just be sure to be respectful of each other. Having a nature preserve in an urban setting like this is rare. What a gem! Biking on weekends is not recommended, even for the most casual of bikers, but it’s great Monday thru Friday! Simply too many kids on weekends (and that’s a good thing!).

Lower Roswell Trail

A good challenge

August, 2020 by coachclark1

If you start on the East end, it is a bit of a tough hill to climb out of the valley. Mostly uphill Westbound but some flat spots to gather yourself. Many restaurants await you at the West end. Going East it is mostly downhill, especially at the end. You can continue on East and South along the 7 mile Roswell Riverwalk Trail to add to your ride.

Cleveland/Bradley County Greenway

awesome trail

My wife and I went here today for a bike ride and by far this is the best trail system we have been on. Impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the area.

Chattanooga Riverwalk (Tennessee Riverpark)

Fantastic trail!

August, 2020 by redmaypril

I biked this with my family last month. Definitely one of the best bike paths I’ve ridden on. Not crowded, flat, and gorgeous scenery! Part of the trail was closed but there is a detour around it (if you’re coming from downtown, you turn into the big parking lot and follow the highway, and turn left after the railroad tracks. That road veers to the right and then you’re back in business). There were bathrooms nicely spaced out and even some water stations. Highly recommend and will becoming back!

Roswell Riverwalk

casual riding trail

August, 2020 by vohenson

This is a good trail if you can go early in the morning before the strollers and the dog walkers get out! not enough room for side-by-side cycling with Friend. Pretty view over the water. We usually double it to give us a half decent workout.

Silver Comet Trail

One of the Best in the Land

August, 2020 by c92vette

Of all of the trails I have ridden on across the country this is one of the best maintained and secure trails there is. Yes, secure as it is patrolled by several county sheriffs that it passes through. I have ridden this trail start to finish and back encountering the sheriff for the county almost every time. It's one of Georgia's best kept activity trails if not across the nation.

Noonday Creek Trail

Only Ridden the Southern Part

August, 2020 by c92vette

This trail has it's moments. There are parts where you are deep into the woods or so it seems. But other parts are right along busy streets with lots of noise. The trail could have been routed better if right of ways could have been gotten. Noonday Creek does run under the local airport runway so it is impractical to have the trail go there. But other parts of the trail that deviate away from Noonday take away from what could have been. Traffic is an issue on many parts of the trail and I watch carefully as the motorists don't care about cyclists. They look the other way as they turn right on red without stopping. Besides that once the trail passes the end of the airport where there is a nice playground constructed and goes off along the creek it has two sections that are real nice. The sections aren't that long but provide a nice quiet ride for a short while. I hope money and right of way becomes available soon in order to connect the south end with the north. Then when you can get away from the Barrett Parkway area it can be a nice trail.

West Cobb Trail

Okay for staying out of traffic

August, 2020 by c92vette

If you want to put on some miles in West Cobb this is a good sidewalk trail. It connects to the Noonday Creek trail and keeps you off Barrett Pkwy. Trouble is the path runs right along Barrett and the traffic noise is great. It isn't kept clean other than by the usage and weather. Okay for adding 6 miles to your route.
