Chief Ladiga Trail

great trail but watch out between mile markers 18.5 to 16. There are some bumps that will loosen your molars, not to mention damage your bicycle. Wish someone would grind them down.

Awesome Trail!!

Really enjoy leisurely biking the trail. It can be very busy on the weekend, and the avid cyclist take some great risks in passing walkers and other slower cyclists. Most do not announce they are approaching, and many “thread the needle” in trying to pass.

Bumps everywhere

Beautiful trail, just not maintained from Piedmont's area of responsibility and Cleburne county's area of responsibility. Safe to use at lower speeds on road bikes, or best if mountain bikes. Sever bumps from roots, will toss you from the cycle. Large cracks in Cleburne county that tires on road bikes can get caught in. Be safe, ride slow, be observant. Still a great ride.

Great Trail

Rode 40 miles from Piedmont back toward Jacksonville , then from the state line to Cedartown, GA. Love this trail had lunch in Piedmont at Shells downtown, wow!!!! Highly recommend. Only open Wednesday thru Saturday

Chattanooga Riverwalk (Tennessee Riverpark)

Trail closed 10/7/2019 for 3 weeks at Rowing Center

October, 2019 by cheryl77

We parked at Chickamauga Dam Riverpark and got on the trail heading towards downtown Chattanooga. The trail is well maintained and utilized by a variety of residents, all of whom were respectful and mannered. However, when we got to the Rowing Center we discovered the trail had closed two days ago for a three week period. Just FYI as we were not aware. There were other people surprised at the trail closing as well when we were there.

Great Trail

September, 2019 by jasperpjm

We biked from the southern terminus to the boat launch, about 10 miles. Real nice, very scenic , lots of sculptures along the way. Trail along river north of there was closed. We probably could have and should have worked our way around the closed section but we did not.
Lots of variety. Some old abandoned buildings from a previous time and some new ones from today.
Markings were poor in some places.

One of my faves

Ride and Lunch

September, 2019 by philipking

Rode from the trailhead near boathouse restaurant to the dam. Then back and beyond to downtown. Back to the Boathouse for lunch before hitting the road home.

Nice trail

Don't miss this trail. I use it often both on bicycle and walking with dogs. Beautiful and clean!
Yes sometimes there are slippery spots on the boardwalk sections but don't all nice trails have this at some point. My suggestion is to keep your eyes open.
