Had a blast with about 10 others on this ride. Great scenery not very difficult or much elevation change. The tunnel was awesome!!! I definitely want to come back!!!

Tolt Pipeline Trail

Three Things to Look Out For

May, 2020 by mvaleri12

1. If you are cyclist, don't bring a road bike. You'll need a gravel bike or mountain bike. The first hill is very difficult, about a 12% grade. A road bike will not be able to do this on a gravel path.

2. Many people walk their dogs on this leash. A majority of dogs are friendly, however I did have a black lab chase me down on the trail. Be careful.

3. Watch out for horse poop.

Beautiful trail, 7/10.

Sadly, only the northern section through Herrings Park is away from terrible traffic.

A beautiful trail, with several waterfalls, we start with the factoring and conclude until the beginning of bellevue with a last waterfall and a wonderful fossil! worth knowing! me and my husband are always looking for new trails, because each hma reserves a secret, beauty and peace.

Issaquah-Preston Trail

Decent ride

April, 2020 by evanwaldron77

My wife and I went for a bike ride on this trail for the first time it’s a decent steady climb uphill so when you reach the end of the trail it’s a pretty quick ride back down! My biggest complaint is that it runs next to the highway the entire way. It makes it harder to hear each other if you want to have a conversation :/ probably won’t do it again but the fun part is on the way back!

Chief Sealth Trail

Great family friendly trail

April, 2020 by mosesunion

Born and raised here... My wife and took our 4 children, we walked, jogged, and biked the entire trail and back. There were some unexpected hills that might test your endurance! It was a little hard at times to follow the signs to stay on the trail but I suppose that's where anyone with a smart phone these days can just use the map in this app!! Overall we enjoyed the beautiful sights and views of the city nestled within the beautiful neighborhoods. We will be visiting this trail again for sure

Cushman Trail

Good ride, needs more markings

April, 2020 by armyscoot02

The trail has a two way paved path and is well kept along the entire trail. There were multiple up and down hill sections which could be challenging if you are beginning on on a fixed gear cycle. The downhills could lead to a disaster with poor brakes or a child. The three sections are not marked off very well; I was left wondering if I was going the right way while on the road. If I knew how long the road sections were, I wouldn’t have wasted time riding on the sidewalk and pulling into multiple parking lots. Overall it was a good ride despite that.

Tolt Pipeline Trail

Easily accessible from Hollywood Hill

April, 2020 by cnichollsuk

We recently moved to Hollywood Hill unaware of the Tolt Pipeline Trail. It's a wonderful resource for our local community and very accessible from a number of points. It's very wide (30 ft+) and open and shared by families, dog walkers, horse riders and bikers. It is hilly, undulating and steep in some places so you need to be in general good health. If you join the Trail close to the Hollywood School House roundabout/traffic circle, where there is public parking by the Sammamish River, expect a very steep 5 minute walk up until the trail starts to flatten out. So if you have walkers who would struggle with that I would join the trail up on the hill. We use the trail all the time with our dog and teenagers. We haven't had the time to go all the way to Duvall but it's a very popular and enjoyable space for everyone. It is not paved but is grassy or graveled. It passes houses, farms, horse acres and on a clear day has beautiful views toward Seattle to the West and the mountains to the East.
