We ride the pavement which was in perfect shape and not overly crowded. But the paths on both sides of the trail were calling to us. Would be a great place to learn to mountain bike and also has access to a wide variety of trails.
I like this trail a lot. It was fun and easy to do with my kids.
This trail is great for a stroll or a quick bike ride. Beautiful scenery and you can start either off of Allan St or from Briarbrook.
We put in at the start of the trail in Bella Vista & rode to South Fayetteville, 35 miles. Very scenic with a variety of terrain & yes there are a few hills. I would advise riding it from the other direction from Fay to BV because of that but nonetheless a great trail from start to finish.
Great surface. Does have several road crossings.
This trail is short and has no parking. It’s straight, flat and with a good surface. Some homeless live in tents near by.
The fresh outdoors have been protected so far from the Coronavirus....it was great to see people out enjoying the fresh air but far enough away from one another to not create panic! Not enough pet stations ¿¿!
Hard to find the beginning of the trail from the maps but found it started by the coffee shop! The port a potty was actually in the middle of the trail....use it because there isn’t one at the end in Joplin! Will definitely ride it again. Nice tree canopy coverage in much of the trail!
Rode the southern portion of the trail in May 2019. Started at the "Bike Route Bike Shop"and went south to Kessler Mountain Regional Park and back. Trail is well kept and thought out. One thing I noticed, as a first time visitor to the area, riding south is more intuitive than riding back north. That being said, the trail is well designed and well kept. 4.5 stars! Lastly, after your ride, make sure to stop at HUGO's for a meal! The "Blue Moon Burger" is tasty!
Thx

I can’t say enough great things about this trail. Rode it without any fuss and beautiful I might add! A treat for sure’
I have a ten and a four year old who both just started biking. We had zero problems and only had to push up hill at the access ramps to the cross streets. Also a couple of spots put you basically on the side walk by speeding traffic separated only by plastic fence pole things, kinda scary for the parents but the kids thought it was great lol. Going under several bridges beside pretty water spots called for closer inspection and added to the adventure. Very pretty ride that makes you forget you are in town sometimes, take the kids and they will love it! By the way, the Old Mo. road parking lot is usually full so plan on parking behind Regions bank at Joyce and Vantage. In the back at the end of Vantage there is an access spot to the trail.
