Portapotty at Desmore Rd, east of AlbionAnd others not shown
The route is nice, shaded and generally a negative grade heading toward the lake. The surface while paved has been heaved by tree roots for the entire length. It can be a fair ride if you are prepared.
This is a beautiful trail ! Lots of historical Rail Road stuff to discover, beautiful scenery, generally a smooth ride.
We only made the Phelps to Stanley segment, but plan on completing it soon.
Really liked this trail. Did the whole out and back (Cato to Fair Haven and visited the park as well). Would recommend fat tires. There are lots of roller coaster mud puddles but kind of fun riding them. This would be a beautiful trail for the fall when leaves turn. Saw lots of turtles, herons, turkey vultures, geese and swamp areas
Traveling to Rush on Sep 13 for a day with some free time. I came across this trail on a search for riding opportunities in the area. Looking forward to riding. Thank you for all the reviews.
Biked the Rush to Mendon section on 8/30/26. Trail surface maintained well. Mileage post/signs are along trail for reference. Interpretive signing at Rochester Junction for those interested in railroading history. Would definitely ride again.
Very good to excellent surface. Excellent way point signs. Middle portion of triangle heading south is now a trail to Greiner rd, making it easier to form a loop with these trails.
As others have said, the short paved part is beautiful. The rest is larger rocks surface in many areas and the path is very narrow. I’ve ridden some rough paths before but this one takes the cake. I turned around after one mile and decided that it wasn’t for me.
Rode round trip from Cato. Trail was better than I had hoped. Though there were a lot of puddles to go around, I enjoyed the ride. The scenery was beautiful with lots of wetlands and forest scenes. I would recommend the trail for biking as long as you are on a mountain bike or a fat tire bike.
The trailhead garden at East Henrietta Road is beautiful in the spring, summer and fall! I know because I am one of the volunteers that maintains it! Yay us! Please, let us know how we're doing and contact us at henriettafoundation.com if you would like to help! Also, we would love some interesting photos and/or info to add to the trailhead kiosk! Thanks!
I can only think of one other trail that was more bumpy. We rode the streets back and dealt with bumpy sidewalks. The town of Greece should be ashame
