Reviewing for biking. No as long as it says…and you need to cross the streets a few times. Also lacking good signage.

I have cycled the D&R numerous times from Frenchtown to Washington Crossing and from Lawrence Township to New Brunswick. I have not ridden through Trenton because I have been told it isn't very safe for a lone rider who doesn't know exactly where the trail begins and ends. The trail along the Delaware is beautiful and very well kept. The trail is wide with crushed stone and easy to navigate on any kind of bike. The trail along the Raritan is nice until you get closer to New Brunswick. The trail is rockier with many potholes and not as well kept, plus there are a few spots where you need to dismount your bike and walk. I highly recommend the D&R for biking, hiking and running.
Very scenic good ride , if your biking I would recommend ride early otherwise you encounter many walkers , strollers etc which can be a hazard if you are biking and cone around a corner the a surprise.
Nice trail to get in 10 round trip , scenic , rest areas , food .
Wonderful trail. Part of the larger Empire State Trailway. This part from Eastview to Baldwin Place is the section I ride the most. Mostly shaded once you're north of Millwood with plenty of spots where you can stop for a bite or veer off for road riding near the reservoirs.
My wife and I walked the trail after dinner tonight. It’s a fine 12 foot wide trail, very well maintained and great for moms running with strollers or teaching kids to ride a 2 wheeler. Too short for a serious adult bike ride and it’s not terribly scenic but it’s nonetheless a nice addition for the community. It does lack mileage markers which would be helpful.
This isn’t a trail in any real sense, but is clearly intended to be the entrance to a more ambitious path along the now-overgrown elevated rail line leading away from Summit. It’s literally a few hundred yards that ends in a locked gate. Nothing to see here unless you’re being a radical completion key for every trail listed in the app. 2 stars for potential, here’s hoping there’s some further expansion somewhere in the works.
I did this route many times. About a half mile West from the South End of the Bethpage Bike Path ie,. Merrick Road NY 27A, you’ll see the Wantaugh Parkway entrance to the Jones Beach path. way back when they couple
This rail-trail is terrific! I use an electric scooter so the surface is important and this blacktop was easily navigable. At one end of the trail is an Irish pub for a fun meal stop- we turned around there to Irish music right after St. Paddy’s Day. Park at Dody Road Haskell. Length was great for us but you may want a longer ride/walk.
