Banks-Vernonia State Trail

My expectation were too high for this trail possibly

September, 2020 by moscowsharon

I didn't like how one direction was mostly uphill and the other direction was mostly downhill. I like a little more variety of up and down in each direction. And although it was pretty, I'm I don't understand why this trail is so popular.

Corvallis-Philomath Multi-Modal Path

Excellent Family Ride

August, 2020 by ryankersh

We took our seven-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter on this trail recently. There are several places where you have to cross roads, but our kids are comfortable with this type of riding, so it felt safe. It's really nice that you can stop at parks along the way for a break. We had a great time.

Banks-Vernonia State Trail

A great trail for walking or riding. Lots of families. Beautiful scenery. Watch out for high speed bike riders who fail to yield right of way to others.

Fanno Creek Greenway Trail

my favorite path in the near vicinity

April, 2020 by jenivq

I found this trail on this app, and since I did it has brought me so much joy! It’s relatively flat and the asphalt is quite smooth (with a few exceptions) so whether you want to bike, run, rollerblade, skateboard, or something else, this path should meet your needs. I go almost everyday and can’t foresee that habit changing until the cold weather sets in and gets prohibitive for rolling outdoor adventures.

Banks-Vernonia State Trail

Winter walk

January, 2020 by rbeav84

The trail was so pretty and scenic. It seemed to be in good repair (except for several downed trees along the path). The wooden bridges and walkways can get super slick, but otherwise a really nice walk next to the creek.

Minto-Brown Island Park Paved Path

Safe and gentle bike path

September, 2019 by cseaders

This paved path has great signage, as long as you know which parking lot you parked in. It would be really hard to get lost. Families and friendly people on the way. Cell service not great there, so plan ahead. 5 parking areas that I counted and some porta potties. I'll be back!
