Sammamish River Trail

Beautiful!

May, 2021 by leticiablacker

A relaxing beautiful ride. The trail was relatively empty on Thursday in May. Didn’t have to be worried about others on the road. Planning to return in August.

Alki Trail

Lovely waterfront view

May, 2021 by leticiablacker

Very pleasant ride. On warm days has a combination of skate boarders, joggers and families walking. The rode is divided for wheeled vs pedestrians in certain places.

East Lake Sammamish Trail

Bayview Trail

Great trail!

May, 2021 by lisarasmussen4u

Discovered the junction for this trail, just north of the 84th Centennial Trailhead, by half a mile. Nice rolling hills, paved, beautifully placed boulders, with lush trees and plants.

Foothills Trail

A PERFECT TRAIL

May, 2021 by scratssun

We rode 42 miles round trip from Farm 12 at Shaw Road in Puyallup to Buckley. This is a beautiful trail following the river part of the way as we passed farms and heavily forested land. Slightly uphill to Buckley but ride back is wonderful! Several places to eat and use restrooms.

Grandview Trail

Wonderful

April, 2021 by cindracee

We came here with 4 grandchildren, daughter and her husband and my husband and I. It was nicely paved, mostly flat and beautiful view. Benches for needed stops, which I need for my bad knee, were wonderful. We parked at the golf course and ended at the play ground. All ages and pets were happy!

Whitehorse Trail

Great trail, horrible gravel

April, 2021 by mgkeller28

This old railroad bed goes from Arlington to Darrington. The section that connects to the centennial trail is not open, you have to find a trailhead off of highway 530. This trail has everything going for it, beauty, scenic, 2% max grade, wonderful, wide trail. BUT..the wrong gravel was placed as the surface. The gravel won’t pack and leaves a loose, squirrelly surface that is relatively unpleasant to ride on and is so loud you cannot talk to person next to you. It’s too bad, great trail ruined by the gravel topping. The only good thung about the gravel is you won’t find any other cyclists on it... We rode it with our gravel bikes, 3m tires.

Foothills Trail

Paved...start in Orting...going up hill to Buckley...went into town and had burgers at wally's. Trail can be busy.

Eastside Rail Corridor Trail

no bikes

April, 2021 by xtgfkdntc6

You can’t ride your bike but there’s a really nice playground for the kids

Bear Creek Trail (WA)

Pleasant walk

March, 2021 by gbalt

Walk near the restored mouth of Bear Creek. Wide paved path along a business park. This used to be a golf course. Freeway traffic across the creek. You can make it a loop by walking the rails-to-trails branch thru downtown Redmond. But they are building a light rail station there in 2021.

Great American Rail-Trail

best trail ever

March, 2021 by tpassarelli_tl

wonderful trip across America

Springbrook Trail (WA)

The boardwalk section is, nice but not representative of the entire experience. The southern end runs behind some light industrial areas and feels a bit sketchy. Wouldn't recommend for solo female runners
