This section of the trail was in very good condition It was a nice ride. There was a parking area and a repair station
trail head parking in New London was open. starting out the trail was ok but further east it was over grown with weeds and tall grass, a couple miles from from Shiocton the trail was closed from the flood washing out the trail. I emailed the county parks department hopefully it improves and the washed out part of the trail gets repaired.
Nice enough trail to get from the Wiouwash to Neenah area but very bumpy.
Beautiful country trail. A lot of tree cover and not very many other people. Worth the ride.
about trees down blocking the trail I sent a email to Wisconsin DNR they responded they would let the crew know
I read reviews from April about trees down this is June I rode from Amherst to Scandinavia didn’t make it because trees are still down. Who is supposed to remove down trees on the trails?
it’s a nice trail to bad it’s not being cleaned up.
I biked from Manitowoc to Two Rivers and back. The trail was well maintained and well marked. The views were spectacular. The road noise was not as bad as a previous review. There was no clear indication of where trail began and where it ended.
This is one of the smoothest riding trails you will find anywhere. Abundant marker posts so you always know how far to the next town. The stretch from Denmark to Maribel is mostly wooded, while the stretch south of that has more agriculture.
from Medina to Allenville 05/19/26 there’s a section between county II and county T that’s very muddy especially by the gravel pit it’s always muddy and from Allenville to Oshkosh it’s a better trail
First time on this trail and it was a nice ride. My husband and I rode the whole trail starting from the south end to Denmark and back. There were a couple parks along the way as well as a bench here and there. Trees, rolling fields and a few bridges were the highlights of the scenery but the thing I enjoyed the most was how quiet it was. Even the roads we had to cross were quiet. The trail is very well kept and very well marked (quarter mile markers too).
05/10/2026 I parked in Medina road the Wiowash trail turned west on Friendship trail only road about .5 mile loose pea gravel and washed out I turned around went back to the Wiowash trail. I tried going east a couple weeks ago that is just as bad.
