Unpaved however lots of wildlife can be seen. Had to come to Lewisville to get on because couldn’t find access pint in raysville. Insects are out so if you go bring bud spray. Over all nice morning bike ride

Monon Trail

Monon... an urban trail

May, 2021 by bearcat80

Monon is a great urban trail. I recently rode it from Westfield to 10th St. Its well marked and well paved. But it has many stops. All are well marked but be alert. If you are riding for pace you will be disappointed. Its very picturesque. It travels through upscale Carmel and artsy Broad Ripple. Very cool train murals at lower end of the trail. Enjoyed it! Fall Creek Trail (IN)

Fall Creek ( Cathedral High School)

May, 2021 by alicianina

Did 13.1 miles round trip, and didn’t finished the trail. Clean, and new asphalt. Lots of shade, bathrooms re the gas station and one place to rent bikes along the trail. A lot of nature and river to the side. The only thing I found bad was, couple of “homeless tent “ but nothing to be concerned. I give a 5 stars trail.

The Monon trail offers everything you can ask for. It is the best trail that I have been on.

Vandalia Trail

Sweet Ride

April, 2021 by searl727

My first Rails to Trails ride. Beautiful landscape, nice packed gravel bed and, later near Amo, paved. Not a soul around. Some open areas where breeze was strong but mostly typical Indiana farmlands and expected wildlife. Birds aplenty.

Big 4 Trail (Lebanon to Thorntown)

great trail

This is way longer than 9 miles, I did Lebanon north for 12.5 and the end was nowhere in sight. It also goes south from trailhead, no idea how far. Great ride.

Pennsy Trail

I love the trail! I think whoever is in charge of building it did an excellent job. I wanted to point out that there is a tent set up and clearly someone is living along the trail between German church and mitthoeffer. There are also Walmart carts back there

Pogues Run Trail

Easy trail

March, 2021 by sempremudando

Fairly easy trail to walk. It’s mostly gravel and some of it was washed out with recent rains. Watch out for the geese!
