Karst Farm Greenway

We walk or ride this trail all the time, love the farmland on both sides of the trail near Ellettsville with the creek is very picturesque. It's a peaceful getaway during a busy day.

Sugar Creek Trail

SHADY BIKE RIDE

The trail now goes over the creek, on a pedestrian bridge. Saw VERY FEW others on this neat fun rail to trail. There are ‘easy’ hills on the eastern trail, pretty flat otherwise. GREAT COOL SHADE almost all the way!

Big 4 Trail (Lebanon to Colfax)

Lebanon to Colfax

The entire route is asphalted but a little bumpy when you first leave Lebanon, as well as, when you first leave Thorntown. This route is generally bordered with trees throughout thereby minimizing the effects of wind and excessive sunshine. The stretch from Thorntown to Colfax seemed to have an over abundance of wild black cherry and hackberry trees. Their fruits were all over the trail and were impossible to avoid at this time of the year. Ultimately, I enjoyed the solitude and remoteness of this section.

Had an amazing ride today. Weather helped but trail was great. Completely paved now from Lebanon to Colfax. A little tricky in Thornton but some locals helped us out.

B&O Trail

Rode the B&O for the first time recently; happy to share that a new extension has just opened, west of Tilden. Great ride!

Fall Creek Trail (IN)

Relaxing ride along the creek

September, 2023 by dinwiddieb

We jumped on the Fall Creek trail from the Monon and headed east to Fort Benjamin Harrison, road around a little bit and then returned. It's a nice relaxing ride with plenty of shaded and winds along the creek for some beautiful scenery. A pretty smooth trail that is not overly populated.

Connecting the Monon and 146th street near MCAlister’s Deli the HBT is a wonderful ride. I try to use it at least twice a week. Really a pleasant cruise.
