Mountain View Corridor Trail

pretty fun trail

May, 2020 by jimmy.zimmerman

We started in Daybreak, at 11400 So and rode north. Traveling north has a constant uphill grade and we were fighting a strong headwind. It gets pretty smelly near the Dannon plant. The northernmost part of the trail (north of 6200) drops in elevation really quickly, which was really fun. It would be fun to try this riding the other direction.

Weber River Parkway

road cycling

May, 2020 by clairehowells

Don’t bother riding south of the Riverdale city office unless you want a 1mile quick loop - at the footbridge the trail turns to gravel. Head north and its lovely with a few short inclines; great for beginner cyclists to learn gearing and control. Lots of dogs and pedestrians so take it easy and ride early!

Old Emigration Trail

Legacy Parkway Trail

Great trail but hot ¿¿

May, 2020 by danamidkiff

This is a really nice trail, but some areas have absolutely no shade so it's super hot! Another problem is there are no garbage cans for responsible pet owners to dispose of their doggy bags so you see they either leave the poop on the trail or throw the bag in the bushes because they don't want to carry the bag the whole walk. We prefer the Ogden parkway trail.

Jordan River Parkway Trail

Wonderful from start to finish

April, 2020 by stephaniewellsmason

My daughter and I recently set out to walk the entire JRT. We had walked only a short part of it in Murray up to this point. We were so impressed by the entire trail system! The whole route is well marked and easy to follow. There are sections that are quiet and secluded while others are closer to town and roads. There are wonderful bridges all along the trail as well. I'm proud to say we made it! I recommend this trail to everyone and am so glad to see tax dollars being put towards a wonderful outdoor experience!

Jordan River Parkway Trail

Jordan River is Cray!

April, 2020 by kristymcmurray79

Did this trail on a road bike for the first time today and it is not what I was expecting. Gorgeous nature and love the feeling, it’s crazy ups and downs the whole time between Lehi and Riverton. Love it for the beauty and the challenge. Definitely will do again.

Murdock Canal Trail

Murdock Magic

April, 2020 by kristymcmurray79

Love this trail, some ups and downs and it is a moderate challenge but not bad. I ride my road bike on it and I like it a lot. Great workout and easy access. Worst part is you ready have to be careful for kids across the whole trail and parents don’t really tell them to move. I just say “left” when I’m going to pass before I get there so they know to love over.

Ogden River Parkway

There are good parts

March, 2020 by jennkite

The trail from Riverdale to Fort Bonaventure is great. From the Fort north can be questionable as far as feeling safe. And about 2 miles south of Riverdale it becomes a dirt trail. So - limited safety, limited comfort for a trail that is so long!

Mapleton Lateral Canal Trail

Beautiful Trail

January, 2020 by danpalmer48

Well maintained asphalt trail close to the mountains. Beautiful views. A few street crossings but much of it, especially on the south end, is traffic free. Would be nice to see it connected to the Spanish Fork River Trail.

Spanish Fork River Trail

Jordan River Parkway Trail

nice

Scenic, well-maintained trail. A little difficult to follow in some intersections. Much more rolling hills than most RTT.
