Warrenton Grade School Trail

This is a hard-packed short gravel road that helps keep you off the main roads in Warrenton. Straight and no hills, just a couple dips in the gravel

Pacific Way Trail

Nice trail

We ride this one routinely. Flat hard packed gravel with a slight crown. Low traffic and an overall quiet setting. It is open all the way through including past the golf course, there are just gates to keep cars out.

Chehalis Western Trail

not what it used to be

August, 2025 by eddebm

So I have been riding rail trails all over the country for the past number of years. Living in the northwest, the Chehalis western Trail was one of my favorites of all times. I just rode it the other day, for the first time in about five years. I am very sad to say that it was not a very fun ride. There are so many tree root bumps on the trail now. If you’re on a mountain bike or a big tire E bike, it may not be an issue, but if you’re on a road bike moving at any kind of speed, it just is not a lot of fun. Still a lot of beauty and the trail is otherwise amazing. But I’m not gonna be back on for a while.

Chehalis Western Trail

E bikes?

October, 2024 by mlv.lb

I was on the Yelm - Tenino trail today when about a dozen riders on E-Bikes and E-scooters came down the Chehalis Western trail to where it meets the Yelm trail. Is there some exception for E-bikes? I thought they would be considered "motorized" vehicles. What were they doing on the trail? So outside of the irritation I felt about that, the trail itself was great! I'm just getting back to riding after knee replacement so a relatively level trail out in the country that I could do some easy distance on was perfect!

Warrenton Waterfront Trail

great ride

Thanks to your mapping it was easy to follow! Only on the road a bit! Beautiful views and a gentle ride. Loved it!

Discovery Trail (WA)

Awesome!

September, 2024 by jm42jdgsrk

The views, the path, the length - hands down our favourite between cannon beach and long beach. It is a must do again!

Astoria Riverwalk

enjoyable but be sure to walk your bike over the rails

September, 2024 by jm42jdgsrk

So enjoyed this ride until I made a critical cycling error and got my tire stuck in a rail while turning and had quite the crash. Loved the views of this ride beautiful sights, lovely stores and eateries along the path.

Astoria Riverwalk

Super fun

September, 2024 by robichaudbrett

Rode this trail from one end to the other and back on Mountain Bikes and had no issues at all. Some of the previous reviews make it sound dangerous on bikes but I did not find that to be true at all. Maybe they've improved the boardwalk sections since those reviews but yes there are small gaps between some boards but none are wide enough to cause issues for bikes. Yes you need to be careful of the rail crossings and do stay away from the rails themselves as they have gaps. That said, using common sense this is a super fun trail. Don't let the negative reviews deter you!

Kestrel Dune Trail

Trail Maintenance

August, 2024 by swvn2cp6ym

There are many trails. One of them goes straight up a slight grade. Dangerous because the maintenance has been forgotten. Tree roots everywhere destroyed the blacktop. There was a new trail we stumbled on by accident. It’s good for now. Scenery was good but hard to enjoy. This is a park they should be maintaining it.

Astoria Riverwalk

Not worth it

August, 2024 by swvn2cp6ym

In its current state it isn’t worth trying to figure out.

Seaside Promenade

Lots of people

Nice ride up and down the ocean front. Good people watching. The walk way is wide. It does need resurfacing.
