We rode part of it and found asphalt surface in good condition. A few places near town had some bumps but most of the surface was smooth. Trail was well marked with signs and where it crossed a road had signs to warn drivers. There were some walkers on the trail but at the time we rode it wasn’t crowded at all. I wish we had time to ride more of it. Most of the tail we were on was adjacent to streets but they were low traffic so it wasn’t noisy and was very pleasant riding conditions some spots had very nice view of the lake.
The Rocori Trail begins just east of Richmond as an extension of the Glacial Lakes Trail that trailheads in Willmar, Mn. Rocori takes you up to Cold Spring and a beautiful park and bridge over a roaring river up to Rockville, Mn a small town where the trail dead ends as you can see the rusty old railroad tracks going off into the woods. That's the end of the trail, baby. BUT, as small as Rockville is there is a wonderful bar and eatery called Stoney's Garage. Makes finding the end of the trail a delight.
I suspect the trail may be good but no warning of all the flooded and shut trails. After 30 mile ride I hit this trail and it killed me riding on the sidewalk along the road AND having to cross over the #169 bridge!!! Friggin scary. I will not even try to do this trail again. Ended 50 miles safely but a better warning system would help.

Beautiful trail and very well kept. There were only a few patches of bumpy riding, otherwise the asphalt trail was in great condition. Lots of benches to rest at and there were facilities in the town areas. Would definitely recommend this trail!
Trail in great condition until somewhere between Warsaw and Morristown. Big tree down across the path on Saturday after a storm. Beautiful tree canopies and many bench/picnic table pull-offs. Would have liked to see more facilities on the trail.
Beautifully paved bike trail over the waters and thru the woods. We rode from St. Bonafacious to Wayzata and back. Very smooth and cool morning ride. This trail is very popular as we met up with numerous walkers and bikers alike. Highly recommend especially if you’re a beginner or a fan of a level trail without hills.
Trail from Clearwater goes approx 11 miles all paved some new in 2025. Saw horses, deer, rabbits
What a treat this trail was! An unbelievable amount of boardwalk riding, through the trees, over the marshes, over highways and river. It definitely is a hidden gem and one you should check out! We thoroughly enjoyed this one. ¿
We rode from the Cedar Nichols Trailhead to the 77 Bridge and back. I hope someone eventually posts the path on the 77 bridge. We were too freaked out by traffic sounds to even go look. The abundant birds on this trail are a treat! It will fun when they finish the next segment north of this trailhead.
We hit the Empire Township Trail at the Spruce St entrance (at the back of the parking lot by the hockey rink), in the evening. We were riding our bikes. The trail is not great for bikes at all anymore. The pavement is creased and hole-y, causing a tooth-rattling ride. We only rode to the DQ on Hwy 3 and then elected to take city streets back. It was a bit over 4 miles round trip that way. I went back to the Empire Township Trail in Farmington, MN this morning, on foot and with my dog. It is a pleasant walking trail, though there are areas that are hidden away from public view and could be a security risk (there was a male dressed all in black in the bushes as I walked by. I assume public urination was the reason). The trail could be improved with more lighting and maybe a public emergency call box or two. But all in all it's a nice trail with abundant birds.
