Great Family Trail

May, 2020 by jdbutero

Just enough inline and decline to give a good workout. Wonderful trail for family riding.

Five Mile Creek Greenway

Awesome trail!!

May, 2020 by hp981234

Great for beginners and no big hills throughout the whole trail. Great shaded areas, great stopping points with benches, awesome width for riding side-by-side or in a group, gravel is packed tightly which makes the ride easier, and easily seen mile marker displays! Highly recommend this trail!!

This is one of the most beautiful rails to trails. But, it is a rough bicycle ride. Athens/Limestone need to pave it.

Five Mile Creek Greenway

my first trail

May, 2020 by stevoharpo

After a long recovery from an accident, I found my legs would work to peddle, even though walking was difficult. 3 mos later, I’m biking about 6 miles of steep hills at the Trussville Sports Complex area and neighborhoods on a Trek Verve+2 E-bike. The Creek Trail was my first dirt to try. It is an easy trail, shaded throughout, well maintained surface, no elevation changes, no curves. Parking at Black Creek Park is safe. Creek Park is ample and

High Ore Line Trail

Really nice trail for biking

April, 2020 by alfredjdavisjr

Wonderful trail for biking. Never too crowded, plenty of parking at the medical center and easy road crossings. Some great uphill challenges followed by relaxing declines. Will come back as a regular from today forward.

Richard Martin Trail

love it

My husband and I have been walking this trail at different entry points for years, we have seen all forms of wildlife from snakes to owls. My only complaint is the people who throw their trash out and expect someone else to pick it up

BMRR South Trail

perfect place to enjoy the shade and some sun

April, 2020 by jenny161971

Easy beautiful walks with a lot of history about Birmingham!! We walked a total of 6 miles through this green leafy park, saw lots of beautiful flowers, some water and beautiful rock cliffs along the way! Nice benches to sit down when you get tired as well!!

Sunset Drive Trail

Relaxing, slightly rolling trail along water and through trees. Plenty of benches and tables. I'm really glad I found this one.

Homewood Shades Creek Greenway

lakeshore trail

February, 2020 by hobnero

Great trail to tide when there is minimal foot traffic. Most runners and walkers know and understand trail educate however, many who walk this trail do not. Dogs on long leashes held by clueless walkers are a danger as well as large groups who choose to stop in the middle of the trail and hold long conversations completely oblivious to the traffic. Many great rides with no frustration have been enjoyed as well as the complete opposite.

Redstone Arsenal Fitness Trail

not quit that long

December, 2019 by timtripp68

I started at the golf course and ran down to the fitness center at the end and only recorded ~15 gps miles. Not quit 8.8 in one direction. Nice run though.

Decatur Trail

Very nice!

November, 2019 by charles.klasman

Rode about 5 miles this afternoon. Relatively smooth gravel pathway with modest elevation changes and turns. Beautiful scenery. Very enjoyable.
