Monroe Township Bike Path

Trail is mostly in the woods. Flat and smooth. Small trail at the high school football stadium leads to a dog park & clean port-a-potty. Very pretty and relaxing ride.

Great place to Jog

October, 2024 by nancylynn22

This was a great place to jog. I just did the loop, (not the tail part of it) and that was 2.5 miles. Benches along the way which I used to stretch before and after. The trails were pretty with the colorful fall trees. It was quiet until you get to the street part, but it’s a short distance.

Middle Township Bike Path

Not much to see but the Zoo was a bonus

October, 2024 by adab

This trail is well maintained & marked but there isn’t much to see as it follows the power lines through no man’s land. However!, the Cape May Zoo was really nice & free!

Dennis Township Bike Path

Seaville to Cape May

September, 2024 by cbrassington18

Parked at the Dennis Township Bike path train head. The parking area and trail were easy to find. However, there were only two marking spots in the small lot which could be an issue on busier weekends. Rode the trail to route 9 in Cape May before taking route 9 to the Lincoln Blvd beach entrance. The trail has quite a few road crossings on busy roads that will drop your average pace a fair bit. The trail is all paved and also includes mile markers at every .1 miles which is a very nice feature. Overall, a great trail to ride.

United States Avenue Trail

Enjoyable for sure

September, 2024 by jennifer279

Recently biked this paved trail then peeled off to explore Blueberry Hill trails. I have a mountain bike with tires able to cruise streets and the gravel--I had some trouble in the deeper sandy areas close to the quarry. I loved exploring back here, as there are paved trails in BH but also the more typical rolling hill wooded trails too. I made it an 11-mile ride as I was also stopping for some geocaches in the Blueberry Hills.

Beautiful Trail/No E-bikes Allowed

September, 2024 by stakrx

We had a beautiful day riding this trail! There were a lot of people, however, that's to be expected on a wonderful Sunday afternoon. The only downside was that we were stopped and given a warning, with my name taken and entered into the officers computer, by a County Sherif officer that e-bikes are prohibited in all Bergen County parks. Unfortunately we won't be back to this trail again.

Cold Spring Bike Path

Straight paved trail. Connects to two other trails.

September, 2024 by nnesky

We bicycled the Cold Spring Bike Path, the Middle Township Bike Path and the Dennis Township Bike Path. They are fully connected, paved and straight. It's like a highway from north to south. It follows the power lines and is mostly sunny. There's very little to see along the way. It's great for exercise - bicycling, jogging, inline skating, pushing a stroller. The best part - no cars!!

Gloucester Township Health and Fitness Trail (aka Blackwood Railroad Trail)

The tunnel is finally asphalt and the barriers are gone. We are finally about to finish the trail on the other side of 42 again. Yay! Let's hope that actually extend it like they plan on doing.

Too busy for bikes by 10 a.m. on a weekend

September, 2024 by lizleih

This path looks nice, but when we tried to take our family of four for a bike ride, we saw that it was too packed with dog walkers and runners for comfort. We arrived later than planned, about 10 a.m., so maybe if you go earlier on a weekend it would be okay. Also the address for the parking took us to a beach that said for "Mountain Lakes residents only" so then we went to the church parking lot (St. Catherine's I believe,) but by then we decided it that it was just too busy for 4 cyclists.

Single Track Mountain Bike Kinda Trail

August, 2024 by scott123180

Tried this trail with 35mm's but it's really a mountain biking trail. Single track and a bit overgrown in places. I'm sure other parts of it are nice. I wish it was a bit more maintained and wider.
