Trolley Line Trail (IN)

Well maintained and challenging

July, 2021 by mdcromer

This trail is great for a exercising people who prefer a challenge. The trail is all uphill from Happy Hollow Park to Indian Trail Drive. About half way up, there is a nice side trail (even more challenging) with stairs that ends at N Salisbury St. I would not recommend this trail for anyone with any type of physical restriction.

Wabashiki Trail

Relaxing trail

July, 2021 by delnayrn

The trail is well maintained and offers a relaxing ride through the wetlands outside of West Terre Haute. Plenty of wildlife encountered on the trail from rabbits to turkeys to deer. Even better is that the pedestrian walkway adjacent to US 40 is now open. This creates a loop completely safe from traffic. The only road riding is though a sleepy little neighborhood. The “no trespassing” signs seen on the trail are on private property. Most likely to keep people from cutting through yards to get to the streets. Mosquitos, when stopped, are the main downside this time of year.

Covington Circle Trail

Some hills; only 3/4 completed

June, 2021 by martinjo47

Some hills & bumps in the trail. Be prepared to turn around & go back or ride up a short steep hill on 3rd St. Turn right on Union, then left on 5th which will take you back to the park.

Lake of the Woods Path

Beautiful trail!

April, 2021 by bwilkinson1780

But be warned at the entrance of the trail on Prairie view Road it has quite a bit of heaved asphalt and you don’t see it until it’s too late, other than that issue at the beginning most of it is smooth going, there are plenty of hills, twists and turns and beautiful scenery.

The hills made it a little difficult for me to rollerskate, but I am a beginner. I really enjoyed the trail though!

Lake of the Woods Path

great for wheelchairs!

My daughter uses a wheelchair and we all really felt like we could enjoy the park on this path. The whole area is extremely accessible!

National Road Heritage Trail (Terre Haute)

Heritage trail

We rode east from Fruitridge and Locust street. It is an easy ride. We are 70 and had no issues. Lots of shady areas. About 7.47 mile round trip.

Parke Community Rail Trail

Two thumbs up

May, 2020 by wilnd6900

We, myself, my 10 year old son and our black lab enjoyed a nice walk on this trial today. Yes, it isn't the longest trail, but for a nice after dinner walk, it's actually the perfect length. It's maintained very well, very clean and so, we highly recommend this trail to all of our friends and family members.

Cattail Trail

Nice paved and wood chip trails

March, 2020 by esposrl

A nice area to run, bike, and walk. Mixed open and wooded areas from Purdue and WL parks.

Wabashiki Trail

Great trail and signs.

January, 2020 by devldawgtjk

My daughter and I took a quick walk down the trail from parking at National to the other parking area where the new trail may start at move east. My question is why are the No Trespassing signs still up on the levees? Trail conditions where great but it leads one to wonder if it’s really an open trail. I will be photographing in this area and look forward to more access into the area.

O'Malley's Alley Trail

A waste of time . It is also not the safest area in Champaign

Sugar Creek Trail

connection finished

September, 2019 by jtkoehler2

as of last year the break in the map shown is now connected. There is also a parking lot next to the animal shelter which is where you can get on the trail. (that is the connection point) You do not have to go the west end anymore to get on it. It is all paved. My biggest complaint is that it still does not connect to downtown trail head park. which would solve the other problem, which is , it is too short.
