Currently closed for construction - July 2020

July, 2020 by nobber2

We went to the trail 7/10/2020 at the south trail head to find the trail completely blocked off and posted for construction. They have torn out sections of pavement to be replaced.

No date was posted for reopening.

Luce Line Trail

Great trail

July, 2020 by ashu1642

One of my favorite trails. We have biked here multiple times and most part of the trail is flat which makes it easy to go with kids too.

Nice ride to Silver Lake once we found the trail on west side of Winsted

July, 2020 by gladbrook33

July 2020 - Found the beginning of the trail off of 6th St. or Babcock Ave. near the Farmer's Coop. There is a very small grassy area to park near the Coop. We stopped to ask. Last section of the trail is now paved by the airport runway, which is currently getting paved itself. Enjoyed the ride from Winsted to Silver Lake. Appoximately 18 miles round trip. Biked through shaded areas and sunny areas in between farm fields.

NIce ride from Lester Prairie to Bonifacius

July, 2020 by gladbrook33

July 2020 -Enjoyed the nicely paved trail in good condition. Nice scenery. A mix of canopies of trees and shade and sunny areas through farm fields. Lovely views of Lake Waconia. Approximately 24 miles round trip. Camped at nearby Baylor Regional Park . Possible to bike the 6 miles to New Germany to access the trail on wide shoulders of County Road 33.

Most of Anoka county trails are poorly marked and in fair to less condition

Rush Creek Regional Trail (MN)

Nice trail

May, 2020 by tgreen55402

Mostly flat and asphalt is in great condition! Several road crossings but mainly residential streets. Easy access to Elm Creek Park Reserve, with even more trails. Coon Rapids Dam at the east end is a nice trailhead or turnaround.

Great Northern Trail

Family Trail

May, 2020 by 23holland

This is a beautiful and well-kept paved path for easy and enjoyable biking. Off-street parking available with a potty. The first stretch includes walkers, families with dogs and biking with the kids, then it turns pretty quiet. The trail is absolutely beautiful through birch, frog ponds, and a fun tunnel. This is on the edge of the City of Elk River so when you are done it is just a mile or two to the nearest DQ.

Lake Wobegon Trail

I’m biased btw

April, 2020 by urness.andrew

Went to St. John’s University so this review 100% biased... but for great reasons! The views at this unique spot are absolutely incredible... over 60 miles of beauty. If you’re able to make it all the way to the end, you won’t be disappointed! Top 5 trails over 18+ miles. 1) Root River Trail 2) Paul Bunyan Trail 3) Cannon Valley Trail 4) Lake Wobagon

Best In Class - Winter & Summer

April, 2020 by mca8969

Well maintained trails winter and summer. Hilly, but manageable. Great scenery and wildlife. Something for everyone!

St. Cloud River Walk

St Cloud Riverwalk

March, 2020 by natekeller21

Beautiful addition to the St Cloud area. Pretty views of the river and portions of bridge extend out into river giving users a unique feel. Train bridge goes over the trail which is also unique. History placards help tell the story of the area. Money well spent for St Cloud!

Lake Wobegon Trail

Now goes into St. Cloud

December, 2019 by timbee205

Not much to add to all the positive comments, except that it now goes into St. Cloud from St. Joseph. This short segment goes by an industrial/warehouse area, over a river bridge and then ends in an athletic field, across from a Kwik Trip.

The last time on it in Sept '19 there were a few new smooth sections but there are still way too many "washboard" sections. Upgrades are in order.
