West Ashley Greenway

Afternoon 4 miles

September, 2017 by philsucksgolf

A quick warm-up to the trail head by the ball field from the Residence Inn. 2 miles out and back. Few road crossings and intersections are inside a residential area. Very little traffic. Great scenery, flat and smooth surface. A nice surprise as I was going to try a hit downtown Charleston for a run. Glad the hotel manager made the recommendation. Enjoy this trail!!

Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail

Multi-faceted trail

Awendaw Passage (Palmetto Trail)

Fun Trail

September, 2017 by williamrwiggins

I am a relative newbie to trail riding. My new Giant ATX did a great job pulling me over the bumps and even through the deep standing water. Next time, we will go during low tide and not after a big rain. Bring bug spray!!! All-in-All we have fun!

Waccamaw Neck Bikeway

not thrilled with waverly road section

July, 2017 by specklesgh

We have rode along Huntington Park trails often and enjoy them. We decided to take the Martin Luther King road trail which was a great ride. But When we rode down Waverly Road, we were very disappointed. The sidewalks were almost all broken and the traffic was too heavy to ride in the street. When we reached 17, we could not decide which was worse, riding all the way back the way we came or riding down 17 back to Litchfield in the heat. Either way was bad!!! We believe the bike trails should have "bike " trails or not be designated as a bike trail.

Doodle Rail Trail

Doodle Rail Trail

June, 2017 by insky132

While vacationing in nearby North Carolina, I looked up nearby railtrails and found the Doodle trail about an hour away. We were well please with great trail with great asphalt, a lot of split rail fences, benches, air pump station about midway along the trail, and a port-a-john @ the beginning. Once outside the city limits, the trail became rolling thru fields and forest. I believe the trail has been extended about a half a mile through the cemetery in Easley. Nice ride!

Blue Ridge Railroad Historical Trail

straight up and breath taking

June, 2017 by beccablankenship2009

A little daunting at the start but well worth the climb. Next time through to the end.

Baxter Village Trail

Catawba River

May, 2017 by jeff704

Difficult trail. Many tree roots and water erosion that has created deep channels. Took my kids and too difficult for the 10 year old, so 2 stars. Good for Mt Bikers looking for a technical challenge.

Wadsworth Trail

is not a trail but now a sidewalk

May, 2017 by dlcoldren

This might have been a trail 10 to 15 years ago, but with all the new home building in the last few years. It is now a sidewalk next to a busy street.

North Augusta Greeneway Park

Walking the Greeneway

May, 2017 by mparrishm1

I begun walking the Greeneway December of 2012 because that was when I got Sadie my dog, buddy and friend. We have walked several parts of the trail, and I find it all beautiful! My favorites are the places where the trees reach toward each other overhead, The only negative issues for me are bikers that pass with no warning and a shortage of restrooms, so I choose sections of the trail where a restroom is near, and I walk facing the bikers to avoid surprises. I really appreciate the Greeneway Trail, and I am glad I live in North Augusta, SC!

Greenville Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail

tons of fun

April, 2017 by ddicer

The detour was inconvenient, but that should be fixed soon. The tons of people were fine. Only about half of this is Railtrail.
