My wife and myself enjoyed this trail so much. Very smooth and well maintained trail.
I didn’t see this trail listed. It connects to the Tawas Trail. It is 6.5 miles long. It parallels US 23 , but does go up and around. There is a bridge and and off path which lead to the water! I think it needs to be added.
The Cass city trail was a huge let down. Most of the trail consisted of walking behind 2 factories and the only scenic part of the trail was 100 ft bridge with a look out over the Cass river will not be walking this trail again
This is an out and back trail (not a loop), roughly 2.5 miles long. There are trailheads at Jones and Finn Rd. The section from Knight to Jones is prettier. Nice and easy gravel trail. We saw rabbit, an egret, lots of frogs, and turtles.
This a nice easy trail to ride. Well maintained, with parking at both ends of the trail. The trailhead at the end of Jones Rd. has Porta-Jon's. Along the way I saw Red Squirrels, a dozen Box Turtles and the occasional Crains.
We access this trail at a junction point on Knight Road. It's a lovely trail along the way you can see red squirrels, chipmunks, turtles, lots of birds and maybe a deer.
This is a great easy trail, however it doesn't lie when they tell you pedestrian traffic can get in the way. If you're comfortable once it goes to a three or four-lane highway, riding on the road is smooth and you miss the walkers. Beautiful start and end points.
