ITC Corridor Trail (Novi)

Easy-going Trail

July, 2024 by mlasp32

Well-maintained, quiet, smooth ride. Scenery of birds, bunnies, deer, marshes, grasses, wildflowers. Stopped to hear bullfrogs. Meanders along power line towers. Bring picnic for ITC park or Maybury.

Paint Creek to Polly Ann Trail Connector

I live near this trail and ride it often. Although it's purpose of connecting the Paint Creek trail and Polly Ann is awesome. It also has some cool wood railed bridges that are funny to ride or walk. Extend your ride and travel the connect trail.

Kensington Metropark Trail

Wonderful trail/lots of wildlife

Went here with the family. A few small challenging grades. There are some pretty views of the lake and a lot of shade. We saw deer, sandhill cranes, rabbits, swans, wild turkeys and a pilliated woodpecker.

Dr. Richard D. Ruppert Rotary Trail

International park Trail, Toledo, Ohio

Not a real good pick. Very rundown, overgrown plants, Graffiti. We went at dusk on a Friday night and the parking lot by the bay had a lot of people and unsafe looking. Would not recommend.

Macomb Orchard Trail

awesome

This is a beautiful trail. I guess my only complaint would be that it’s a little bit boring. if you go from Romeo to Richmond, it’s pretty much wide-open with very few crossings and not many people. Many great places to stop along the way, including apple orchards, restaurants, rest areas, etc. One of my favorite trails!

Clinton River Park Trail - Macomb County

neglected

June, 2024 by ielpmike

I just rode this on June 18, 2024 and there were a lot of tree limbs and growing over the trail. The trail was covered in a lot of debris. Looks like it was once a beautiful trail, but not looking so good these days. Lots of curves on this trail, which makes it more interesting than the other trails in the area.

Mike Levine Lakelands Trail State Park

great ride

I rode this trail from Pinkney to Stockbridge and back. It was a pleasant ride with varying scenery-sometimes open fields and sometimes heavily wooded. Another thing I liked about this trail is that is not endlessly flat. Instead there are some easy hills and downhill

Wabash Cannonball Trail

Long Rides

I live close to Fallen Timbers and pick up both the north and south paths often and I have road the whole south trail a couple times. I ride both a full suspension and no suspension mountain bikes from the early 2000s. Either is adequate for the parts of the trail I’ve road on. I find the trail beautiful. I’d like to make it out to Montpelier but have only made it just past the detour between Delta and Wauseon. The posted detour has you going about 4-5 miles on county roads. This is very dangerous. I would not recommend as the traffic is very fast and if cars come from both directions you have to get off and the off often ends up in a ditch and not easy. I’ve found it better to just continue on the path and avoid the detour. But this places you along the railroad tracks and it’s very difficult to ride. They are active tracks also and trains will come by. Riding on the trail though the detour is possible but rough and the part that goes over the tracks and along them is not marked well. It took some exploring to figure it out. I can’t speak for the trail after wauseon to Montpelier as I haven’t made it that far but the parts I’ve road are a great path for all day riding. You will have to cross streets along the way so you will have starting stopping.

Clinton River Park Trail - Macomb County

Great trail very scenic and quiet. Lots of shade. Wish there was restrooms along the way but over all great trail. Will be back to do the whole trail. Started out at schoeneherr and clinton river rd trailhead.

Best Trail...No Shade

Nice winding trail from Jefferson to Bagley for walkers, bikers, skaters, strollers 🚴🏾¿¿¿🚶🏾¿¿¿🤱🏾🛼 and they avoided what would have likely been mosquito 🦟 traps by filling holes with dirt 🪨 and plants 🪴 🌲 🌺 🌹 but on a hot day like today 🌡¿ you may want to avoid it because there is NO SHADE AT ALL.
