Pennypack Trail

Lorimar Park to Delaware River

November, 2022 by rwblackwell

I rode this route for the first time today. It’s a very well maintained paved trail. I really enjoyed the ride. The creek is very nice, and you can hardly tell you’re in the city. There are many more hills on this section of trail than the more northerly sections.Looking forward to the next time.

Stockton Station Park Rail Trail

Great Park and Trail!

November, 2022 by eston.spain

Stockton Station Park offers peaceful and spacious amenities and an excellent paved trail. Although the length of the main trail is 0.36 miles long, there are paved sub-trails that connect the park features like ball diamonds, soccer pitch, and skateboard park and then reconnect to the main trail, allowing trail users greater than a half mile of paved walking surfaces. There are also benches and dog waste stations along the lighted trails.

Blue Marsh Lake Multi-Use Trail

mountain biking level trails

November, 2022 by 62p9cpnkw7

Little too extreme for electric bikers who prefer the rails-to-trials. We went in both directions from the visitor center, but turned around when the trail turned rough or a little too steep. We did see mountain bikers out having a good time.

Union Canal Trail

Great Ride

November, 2022 by twirfel

Started at Stonecliffe Action Park to Blue Marsh Lake and back. Trail was groomed well and mostly flat with small inclines until closer to the lake. Great scenery with creek and marked historical areas. Covered bridge was an added bonus.

This trail was great!!! Transported my bike on the Amtrak bus from Philly to Reading and then rode the SRT back to Philly, staying the night at the Doberstein Campsite. Very enjoyable trip, highly recommend it.

Enola Low Grade Trail

Worth the Wait

October, 2022 by zave smith

On Saturday, October 22nd, my wife and I, with a few friends, road this trail from Quarryville to the Safe Harbor bridge. With the reopening of both the Safe Harbor and Martic Forge bridges, this trail has become a delight. The trail is very flat, the surface is in excellent shape, and the scenery is wonderful. It was not very busy considering that it was a beautiful autumn day for riding.

It is also only an hour from our home near Philadelphia which means it will become part of our regular rotating weekend rides.

Northwest Lancaster County River Trail

Nice trail

October, 2022 by juliuskd

Nice trail along the river. Completely paved, but not as wide as some reviews have insinuated. Yes, certainly wide enough to pass, but not as wide as other trails in the area. Because it is such a nice trail everyone seems to be out enjoying it - family walkers, casual bikers and the serious bikers. Spent most of the day saying “on your left”. I prefer a crushed stone trail over paved, all in all beautiful day.

Warwick-to-Ephrata Rail-Trail

Trash???

October, 2022 by trailkeeper

Was on the trail on Fri. 10/14/2022. spoke with one of the maintenance men, near the Dick Winters memorial. He stated that they have a broom attachment for the skid loader that they use to brush aside all of the fallen black walnut husks on the paved sections. I find the trail very well kept.

Perkiomen Trail

North end is horribly signed.

October, 2022 by

We started the trail at Green Lane. Can’t believe how poorly this trail is marked. Maps don’t help much either in this area.
