Pemberton Rail-Trail

Great place to Jog

October, 2024 by nancylynn22

This was a great place to jog. I just did the loop, (not the tail part of it) and that was 2.5 miles. Benches along the way which I used to stretch before and after. The trails were pretty with the colorful fall trees. It was quiet until you get to the street part, but it’s a short distance.

Tacony Creek Trail

Did I get the wrong trail?

October, 2024 by btrue2breal

I would not recommend. The area wasn’t kept up. Not a lot of nature, at least not that I felt comfortable walking through with my kids. But I found a couple nearby who was doing what looked like excellent car detailing service!

United States Avenue Trail

Enjoyable for sure

September, 2024 by jennifer279

Recently biked this paved trail then peeled off to explore Blueberry Hill trails. I have a mountain bike with tires able to cruise streets and the gravel--I had some trouble in the deeper sandy areas close to the quarry. I loved exploring back here, as there are paved trails in BH but also the more typical rolling hill wooded trails too. I made it an 11-mile ride as I was also stopping for some geocaches in the Blueberry Hills.

Ben Cardin C&D Canal Recreational Trail

Perfect first trail ride for our new bikes. We went a little further on the trail to do 2.9 miles both ways. The single hill is a nice touch for the exercise. View of the water was a nice touch as well for scenery.

Schuylkill River West Trail

Little more income than what we like in such a short distance. Not much to see along the route did not see river until close to 422.

Fantastic Trail!!

My husband and I use this trail a lot with our electric bikes. Well maintained but I do have concerns about some of the shallow rooted trees that must be trimmed and/or removed. Amy Marotta

Gloucester Township Health and Fitness Trail (aka Blackwood Railroad Trail)

The tunnel is finally asphalt and the barriers are gone. We are finally about to finish the trail on the other side of 42 again. Yay! Let's hope that actually extend it like they plan on doing.

D&L Trail

D&L trail between Jim Thorpe & Weissport

September, 2024 by m9xg8p9csd

Does anyone know if the trail is open between Jim Thorpe train station & Weissport is open? We are heading there this weekend of 9/13-15/2024. It’s been closed for most of the spring/summer season 2024 for construction. Just curious if we shout just head to the Weissport parking lot. Although the trail between JT & Weissport is a fun ride.

Way too confusing if you are not from the area- the map does help very much.

Saucon Rail Trail

As I walker I love the trail but…

September, 2024 by cmmurphy555

I love this trail. My regular walks have restored my mobility and I get to enjoy nature, well mostly. Sundays are the worst time to be on this trail as a walker. Packs of bikers pass simultaneously on the left and right with no warning. They act like anyone but them is a nuisance. Very sad.

Perkiomen Trail

Much Improved

September, 2024 by zave smith

It has been around five years since I last rode on the Perkiomen Trail. My memory of it is lots of ruts, pot holes, and loose gravel around the Collegeville area. Today we rode from Oaks to Central Perkiomen Valley Park and was pleasantly surprised by how much the trail bed has been improved. There are even nice crossing lights on the major roads. A big thanks to whoever was behind these improvements.

Pros: long trail, paved/nice surface Cons: heavy traffic, intersections, intense bicyclists
