Lansing River Trail

I enjoied the trail a lot

July, 2019 by lmileo

I would not imagine a trail with so much fauna and flora in the middle of Lansing city. It was a great experience and a trail to come back again.

Macomb Orchard Trail

Beginners like us loved it!

July, 2019 by frankpizzo

Started at 33 mile road and Romeo Plank Rd and headed west. Paved the whole way there, with a great lookout view of the Clinton River, ice cream shops, pizzeria, restaurant and bar and about 10 miles in we stopped at a 7-11 that also had a bike shop in the strip mall. Overall about a 20 mile trip and we loved it!

Paint Creek Trail (MI)

Great!

July, 2019 by trendedys

Nice trail. Along the way there is a Cider place to get food and donuts. Many nice views of rivers/ponds. Many places to rest. Only downside is that when I went- the trail was shut down in the middle.

Metro Parkway Trail

Needs some work on the section we road

July, 2019 by jschihl

(Maybe its not fair to rate this trail as we did not ride the whole distance) We started at 16mi and Schoenherr but eventually the bumps got too annoying so we turned around when we hit Moravian (we took the subdivision road that runs parallel to avoid the bumps).

Bicentennial Park Pathway

Beautiful trail.

It has both pavement and trails.

Fred Meijer Clinton-Ionia-Shiawassee Trail

Great Trail

July, 2019 by aparker2852

Rode 50 mile on the Fred Meijer Clinton-Ionia-Shiawassee Trail. I started in Ovid and turned around in Pewamo. The trail had about 1-2 miles paved through Ovid, St. John, Fowler, and Pewamo the remained of the trail was gravel, crushed lime stone. The trail condition was good and overall smooth without a lot of pot holes and ruts. Even with the overall good condition of the trail the 40 plus miles of gravel was pretty punishing by the end of the ride. One small area outside of Ovid appeared to have very little gravel coverage and may present a problem when wet...potential muddy area. The weather was great for a ride the scenery was great the trail was pretty much through farm lands lots of fields of corn and wheat with old barns and farm houses along the way. My bike was a gravel bike with 38mm tires.

Lakelands Trail State Park

Great Trail

July, 2019 by aparker2852

Rode the trail late June 2019 starting in Hamburg out18 miles and back just short of Stockbridge. The trail was in great condition even the gravel section. There was no ruts or pot holes that caused any discomfort on my bike. I was riding a gravel bike with 38mm tires. At the turn around point I did start see more loose pea size gravel I believe is due to the recent grading process on the road and had not packed down yet. The temperature was 87 and sunny but with all the tree canopy along the trail it was a pleasant ride.

Paint Creek Trail (MI)

Bridge Out

July, 2019 by jschihl

We started at the Rochester Municipal Park and made it to Dutton Road where it was posted the that the bridge was out so the trail was closed. I wish there was an app, like Waze, for bike trials so we could be alerted for things like this.

Genesee Valley Trail

Recently Extended

June, 2019 by bendarnell42

The trail has recently been extended and now continues through Chevy Commons into the city. A very nice trail that goes behind but also hides the urbanized parts of Flint. Very flat and smooth and fairly well maintained.

Clinton River Trail

Nice trail more gravel than asphalt

June, 2019 by cmaday

Beautiful ride along river saw many kayakers below with just enough canopy of trees to keep trail from getting to hot. Many scenic points with benches to rest. I pick up trail at Opdyke and rode out n 9 miles. Slight down grade was more noticeable on return between grade & gravel made return a bit slower . Saw deer off trail and plenty of bunnies. Wonderful quiet trail with fragrance of wild flowers. Look forward to entering trail other points ¿¿

Lansing River Trail

Great trails Great Ride!!

May, 2019 by emmntiff

This trail has been updated and resurfaced in many areas making it a much smoother ride. The scenery is fantastic! You may stop for ice cream in old town and again at the MSU dairy store on campus at MSU. There are several parks along the way to stop and picnic (if you didn’t pack food there are plenty of great places along the way) or let the kids including yourself to play. What more can you ask for on a beautiful day, being outside is the place to be!!! This is definitely a trail worth riding if you live in the area or are visiting.

Clinton River Spillway Bike Path

April, 2019 by llarz2010

From the parking lot to the park and then all the way to the deck overlooking where the river flows into Lake St. Clair is about 5 miles.
