West Orange Trail

Beautiful Well-Maintained Trail

March, 2026 by tammy85

My husband and I rode this trail today (3-31-26) and had a great experience. The trail is well-maintained and the downtown area is so cute. We stopped a couple of times for lunch and coffee. I would highly recommend this trail. Beautiful trees and open spaces, with lots of rest stops throughout the ride.

Palatka-to-St. Augustine State Trail

Great Ride; FLAT

March, 2026 by rosieannriley

I was visiting my friend and Palakta is her home. I started trail at Hitchcock’s grocery store because best place to park to get right on trail. From this location it was 19.3 miles to end of trail. There is one restroom along the way and it’s about 16 miles. There is the town of Hastings that has restaurants etc. and it’s about 8 miles from Palakta. Once at the end of trail, it just ends and you will see the railroad track and that’s it. You are not in the city of St. Augustine. There is no bench or anything.

Kewannee Trail

Nice quiet neighborhood stroll

The wooden nature walkway is currently under construction for safety reasons (they completely removed it) and I’m not sure when/if it will be reinstalled but I hope so. It was a nice little, brief excursion through the woods. The rest of the path is paved and perfect for a walk, bike ride or skating. It’s nice to have in my backyard

West Orange Trail

Central FL gem

December, 2025 by trailsforall

After years of traveling to Central Florida to visit theme parks, this December I convinced my family to spend a day on bikes as a break. We rented four bikes from Bikes and Blades at the Killarney Station and rode almost halfway (10 miles) down the trail towards Apopka. The width of the trail was superb for family bike riding, with a smooth asphalt surface throughout. Signage was clear and easy to follow. Downtown Winter Garden is a true gem. We stopped on the way back, parked our bikes and explored the many restaurant and shops. I plan to come back and ride the full length of the trail, including the connections to Lake County to the west.

Lehigh Greenway Rail Trail

gorgeous ride

Did the entire trail out and back. The east end has some roots and patchwork. The rest of the trail is an excellent condition. Could use better signage where you cross major highways. Be sure to take the new spur over to highway 100. Beautiful ride.

Palatka-to-St. Augustine State Trail

Trail closed at north end

December, 2025 by askrens

Rode from Palatka to where the trail crosses Vermont Rd about 1.5 miles from trail end. In general, the trail was very good to excellent condition, with the usual root protrusions under the tree canopy . My only real complaint is that there was no signage coming out of Palatka, and no mileage signage at all.Lo

Little Econ Greenway

perfect walk trail

November, 2025 by danielaf2016

I recommend parking at the tennis courts by the entrance off Rouse Rd — there’s always plenty of parking. From there, start walking west. It’s a really enjoyable trail with enough foot traffic to never feel isolated. I usually walk to the Econlockhatchee bridge before turning back, which comes out to roughly 4 miles or about 7,000 steps. The park staff are fantastic and do an excellent job keeping the trail clean and well-maintained.

Great Trail

October, 2025 by guilfordb

We road from Maytown to Osteen grabbed some breakfast and headed back. (32 miles round trip) The trail is in perfect condition. No standing water. The weather could not have been any better. It was actually a little cool in the morning with the shade but warmed up on the way back with a perfect mix of sun and shade. We saw some large turkeys and a good size alligator on the side of the trail sunning.
