This is an easy trail and is very pleasant.

Ygnacio Canal Trail

Trail Map needs updating...Can't go through Golf Course!!

July, 2020 by gdavis3000

Tried this trail, but ended in disaster. Starting at the "Heather Park" end, after crossing Marchbanks Rd, I encountered Diablo Hills Golf Course. Map routes through the golf course to Kinross Dr, but once I entered the green, I was "politely" chased away by a lady in a golf cart yelling, "You can't be here... this is private property... you could be killed" (assume she meant by a line-drive).

When you get to Marchbanks Dr, turn left, go down to Ygnacio, hang a right, then pick up the trail.

Bear Creek Trail (CA)

Great trail with nice views of the delta water ways , nice having this in my back yard , hopefully in the future they can extend it a little further out in the delta.

Iron Horse Regional Trail

Great trail for running, walking and bike riding.

Lots of families, bike riders and people on parts of the trail through out the day. Lots of places to stop for restroom, food, etc. Safe for single riders.

Guadalupe River Trail

0 and 5

June, 2020 by edward.lambert

O for trail from Virginia St to San Fernando very poorly marked and in some cases dead ends forcing you to take bike up stairs. North to Alviso was great. Spots with lots of homeless encampments but only filthy areas were south. Will never ride it again south of San Fernando

Cross Alameda Trail

Flat, open space, decent

June, 2020 by alexisohagan

Separate but adjacent trails for bikes and pedestrians. Sandy gravel and asphalt. Next to a multi-lane, high-traffic street. Some young trees planted along the route, but less green than many trails. Largely flanked by dried grass. Best for family bike outings or an easy stroll.

Calaveras River Bike Path

I don’t recommend this trail

June, 2020 by bradlooney5050

I just got back from trying this trail out and I was very disappointed!! I started off Cherokee and the trail starts near there. Not even 2 miles Ahead you will find the homeless on both sides of creek. I counted almost 2 dozen. They were definitely not happy I was there. As I go along I’m passing project housing and run down apartment buildings. My buddy was robbed by the homeless so I was very uncomfortable. I turned around and went back to my truck and left. Trail is paved pretty flat for the most part. I really started liking the trail but I’m too uncomfortable. Anyway try it out and maybe you’ll end up liking the trail. Be safe

Bol Park Path

Popular trail

Well maintained, good for inline skating with some bridges with a bit rough surface. Relatively crowded with joggers and strollers.

Aquatic Park Trail

good for a flat 2-mile walk

March, 2020 by kristy.sidlar

I wasn’t in the mood for hills today and thought this would fit the bill. It was the perfect effort and distance. I didn’t love being so close to the freeway but there was a lot of nature and beauty to distract me.

Calaveras River Bike Path

Only decent place to ride in Stockton

February, 2020 by ki6uaq

All the other trails are either 50+ year old asphalt that is literally full of potholes and eroded surface, or shared with 50+ mph traffic. This is the only remotely safe place to ride in Stockton until their new bike master plan is complete. That's not slated to be finished until 2035, so this is where you will be biking in Stockton for the next 15 years!

Corte Madera Creek Path

great for bikes and walking/running, uneven for inline skating

February, 2020 by recoveringsupermom

I started inline skating at Ross (very bumpy start in the parking lot makes for an uncomfortable start). It was smooth sailing, even over the first wooden bridge, until college of marin’s parking lot. The pavement hasn’t been kept up, so it’s pretty bumpy, enough for me to want to go around it next to the trailers until I reached the stree. After crossing it was ok until the second wooden bridge which only Has splintery guard rails. Then it is increasingly bumpy until about the middle school. I turned around there, only Got Half the workout i hoped for.
