Santa Ana River Trail

Upper Santa Ana River Trail

September, 2020 by memorris_tl

After riding the lower trail to the beach many times I decided to try the upper trail. I really didn’t like it. The homeless encampments and graffiti made the trail feel unsafe. I’m an adult male and I was uncomfortable, I can’t imagine being a female using this trail alone. Won’t use the upper trail again.

Tracks at Brea Trail

stroller

August, 2020 by ognzlz

Firs time on the track today with my 1 year old and a bob stroller. Pretty comfortable, wide enough to run with the stroller + have room or other runners/walkers and bikers. Will come back. We parked in the arovista parking lot. Only slight challenge might be getting the stroller up the two flights of stairs.

Nice easy trail whole family can enjoy, a couple of bumpy spots not real bad.

Upper Bay Trail

No Electric Bikes allowed

July, 2020 by jp50bp

Was surprised to see that electric bikes were prohibited from the bike trail. There were cyclist going at least 30 mph just by pedaling alone. I don’t see the harm in a person using pedal assist or even an electric scooter going 10 mph. Other than that it’s a beautiful location!
