It’s worth the fee for crossing over the causeway! There are parts that wind through the subdivisions and parts that ride along a very busy road- but riding safely on the trail. We’ll definitely return for another ride! Several public accesses to beaches. It’s a beautiful island!
Great paved surface, used by riders and walker/runners. Nice and wide, well marked. A few road crossings with crossing signals and several “overpasses “ over really busy roads. Definitely worth the ride!
Nicely paved, several street crossings. There and back 16+ miles. Great ride!
Rode this one today for the first time in a couple of years. It's a nice wide track and on a weekday, not too busy. You are out in the elements the whole way. There is virtually no shade, so sunscreen and water are a must, especially in the hot months. Being so near the water, it is windy more often than not. Lots to look at including historical areas and of course beaches and piers. Food and drinks are available for purchase, although there are no free water stations that I have seen.
Road ebikes from south end to North end. There is construction just north of Channel park blocking trail. There is no easy way around it on east or west side. Lots of places to stop and eat near trail.
The trail is great. I took one star off because it needs signage! It ends at a road in spots, and no sign to tell you where it picks up again.
Great trail, tremendous trail, believe me! You can ask anyone, the trail is one of the best! I’ve been on many trails, this one is tremendous.
We just finished the Courtney Campbell Trail and it was a blast! Our first trip here and we loved it!
The paths are very long, well maintained, and scenic. Roller skating around and along the pond is a delightful experience.
It's a beautiful ride, however the lack of trail etiquette is something to behold. Everyone is on their own planet and never heed any announced warnings. I almost hit or ran over three dogs and two people due to no situational awareness or didn't know their right from their left. Again, beautiful ride but frustrating.
Started our ride at the north end trailhead and rode south to the causeway. Nice surface, straight, mostly flat trail. Great views of the canals and waterways. 16 miles, great ride.
