Sanford Riverwalk

Finished

September, 2021 by jack.wilkerson1

This trail now extends to the Spring to Spring trail at Lake Monroe Park. If you go East to Mellonville road then south on the road to route 25, you will find a sidewalk bike trail east to hwy 415. The on the West side of 415 another sidewalk trail extends into a full blown double lane trail at Celery avenue up to Osteen connected to the Rail to Rail trail. Head West and connect to the Spring to Spring south trail back to Lake Monroe Park. Roundtrip is about 30 miles around lake Monroe. Stops at Green Springs park, Gemini Springs park, Debary Hall, and Beck Ranch park.

Spring to Spring Trail

beautiful trail, needs some maintenance.

September, 2021 by juli8

This is one of the most naturally beautiful segments of trail in the area. That said, there are many segments that are not complete yet, and there are many segments that are showing their age, with treacherous rough surfaces, cracked pavement, potholes. The whole area could use some love, but it’s so beautiful. Better suited to walking/jogging than cycling simply because it’s twisty and worn out in places.

Sanford Riverwalk

time for an update!

September, 2021 by juli8

This trail now runs all the way to the county line, across the St John’s River at 17-92 and connects to the Spring to Spring trail. It is possible to begin in downtown Sanford, followed the trail west and head north across the Saint John, Loop back east and follow the trail to Osteen, and on to Edgewater or Titusville, if you’re feeling adventurous, or head south at 415 in Osteen and back across the river. You will have to follow Celery Ave for two miles, to Melonville, But it is a roughly 26 mile loop around the lake with 24 on dedicated trail.

Beautiful riverwalk, now extended all the way to the Sanford Zoo. Plenty of seating and scenic views. My favorite place to run!

East Central Regional Rail Trail

Trail complete from Osteen to Maytown!

July, 2021 by bobwise32952_tl

The missing central section of this trail was filled in, a couple months ago as I understand. It's now complete between Osteen and Maytown. You can now cycle from Titusville, on the Indian River, all the way to DeBary and on to the St. Johns River at Lake Monroe Park. (And likewise from Edgewater, on the Halifax River.)

Little Econ Greenway

Great Trail

Never feels “packed” and nice scenery!

Little Econ Greenway

good amount of wildlife and well maintained trail

May, 2021 by abberhoe

I’ve seen rabbits, otters and gators while riding this trail (different occasions for each.) The path is well maintained and great for inlines. Not all of it is scenic, there are many parts that run directly behind peoples houses or school fields. For me the scenic areas are worth the spots that are less so.

Spring to Spring Trail

navigate segments

April, 2021 by mcamel

This was a beautiful trail, even though you have to navigate your GPS to go from one segment to the next, since they are not connected. We started at Blue Spring Park and went north to Ponca DeLeon, which was about 15-16 miles each way. DeLeon Springs has an amazing pancake house and a beautiful swimming lagoon. $2 gets you into the park on a bike. The following day we rode south to Gemini Springs park. You can’t swim there but it’s a beautiful park to chill for an hour or two. The trail east of Gemini

Cross Seminole Trail

Cross Seminole Trail

April, 2021 by kmsill9599

Decided to travel to this side of the state to try out the paved bike trails in Seminole, Orange & Volusia counties & we started with the Cross Seminole Trail at the Big Tree Park trailhead. We rode down to The Cady Way trailhead and then back which gave us about 36.85 miles for the day. A lot of intersections to cross so be careful! Stop in Winter Springs for a cool drink!

Pretty trail that begins at the zoo parking lot and ends in a beautiful neighborhood. These is no parking on the neighborhood side.

Kissimmee Trail Loop

It’s a “Meh” Trail

April, 2021 by rtdutton

I didn’t find this trail very interesting. Another user had said that it felt like “an alley” and this is true for the section between Hoagland and John Young where it closely passes homes and apartments. The rest of the trail between John Young - Central and the southern section by the airport seem barren. The trail does connect to Shingle Creek and additional trails which are definitely worth visiting. Overall, this is the least interesting bike trail I have traversed in Florida. I will return to West Orange and Cross Seminole trails before biking this one again.
