Inland Rail Trail

Too many stops to cross streets

February, 2022 by sarahkesty

So many street crossings, it was frustrating. Not worth the time.

Mission Bay Bike Path

Went here today and honestly it wasn't bad. Large cracks in the path were a bit of a pain but it's not a major issue.. I fell 3 times but I was going backwards and not paying attention so thats all on me.

Inland Rail Trail

Asked police and a few workers at transit station... still got on the wrong trail...cut through town to this trail... very very poorly marked... got outside Escondido and trail disappeared...detours through...poorly marked... smart to avoid trail

Bayshore Bikeway

Good ride

January, 2022 by smariej72100

It was a pretty ride. Lots of walking traffic along the way, so if you’re riding a bike you have to be extra cautious.

Rose Canyon Trail

December, 2021 by joanmbain

This trail leans to another trail and another. Each time we thought we were at the end, we weren't. Finally it opened up into the Mission Bay Bike Path which makes it a really long trail, taking you from La Jolla to Mission Bay without ever encountering car traffic. We LOVED it!!

San Diego River Trail

The trail is all you get. Overgrown bushes block the scene of the river. Lots of trash. Sectioned off by the city roads.

Santa Gertrudis Creek Trail

Great if you're a beginner cyclist or runner. Not terribly long or hilly, with just enough to tire you out and get the heart going if you take it both ways.

Rose Canyon Bicycle Path

The bike path has been extended and now goes north south from Gilman drive to south of Grand Avenue. So the 1.1 mile length listed here is incorrect

Bayshore Bikeway

Flat and easy

July, 2021 by mbentson_tl

Rode round trip from Chula Vista Marina to National City Marina, and from Trident Coffee to Fiddlers Cove. Good surface all around. Windy along the Silver Strand Blvd side, and noisy from the Hwy 75 traffic. A bit confusing near Bay Blvd and E St.

Inland Rail Trail

Better than nothing.....

July, 2021 by mark0053

Better than nothing describes this trail. I biked the entire 10 miles each way starting from the transit center. The trail/path itself is nicely paved but could use more directional signs. I found there too many street crossings for my tastes and in many places you have to stop and really look for where the trail leaves off after crossing a street. About 30% of the trail passes through an industrial area with little scenery. This area is better off for sure with this trail but the trail itself when compared to others in the area lacks many desirable things.

Sorrento Valley Road Trail

this is a great connector

July, 2021 by bandrow

The trail is beautiful but also a great connector from UCSD to Torrey Pines in a really nice loop.
