Black Creek Trail (Miami-Dade)

Awesome ride

March, 2026 by robertlyon7

Long stretches of paved trail along side of the canal. Very enjoyable and a cool way to see parts of Miami-Dade you wouldn’t normally see. Time it out for a lunch at Black Point Marina. Head back and you can do Larry And Penny Thompson Park too

Merrick Trail

Not worth your time

March, 2026 by robertlyon7

This route runs along the busy Coral Way and dangerously close to traffic at some points, especially when trying to pass a pole or fire hydrant. I suppose this is a good bike commuter route if you happen to live in the area and need to get to FIU I had more fun riding around on the Fairgrounds property where this trail starts

Red Road Linear Park

Short but sweet

February, 2026 by robertlyon7

This trail is short but it gets you down to Old Cutler where you can roam for miles either north or south. So if you're starting from Pinecrest or South Miami its a good place to get going.

Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail

2026 Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail ride

February, 2026 by dhepp1_tl

First time riders on this trail should be advised that not all of the trail is ridable so you will be required to use the bike lane on the road part of the time. Several sections of the trail are showing its age with large cracks and humps from tree roots. Multiple trail bridges are closed because of storm damage.
This is my 4th trip from Homestead to Key West and I found it better to use the bike lane instead of the trail.

Despite the above problems, the ocean views still make the ride enjoyable.

Hiatus Road Greenway

it’s fine for inline skating

October, 2025 by anton.kashpor

It's great for inline skating. The track is interrupted by roads, but this is fine.

Snake Creek Trail

People doing drugs every day. Police inactivity

September, 2025 by vg4zzd2bw9

I usually take a walk with my kids and my dog . It is public park. But it makes me uncomfortable always seeing people smoking marihuana . People feels uncomfortable. And this is every day. I have never seen the police to stop this. Maybe is not illegal. This is in the entrance across Sierra Park and going to the Canal. I prefer going to another place. I don’t feel safe

El Rio Trail

nice trail

Very nice trail. Could use some work in spots but overall a nice ride. Cross over a couple of streets but traffic very light in those areas.

Atlantic Greenway

Easy ride and beautiful views

August, 2025 by ricardo.baron0309

I moved to the Sunny Isles Beach area from Chicago and wanted to give this trail a try. I was gladly surprised that the trail is clean, safe and easy. My girlfriend and I rode the trail from Bal Harbor to South Point passing thru Miami Beach. It was an awesome ride. I do recommend the trail to anyone is looking for something fun to do. Don’t forget to stop by Miami Beach and get a drink.

M-Path Trail

not for for inline skating

August, 2025 by wb7wpryt7t

This is more like a long sidewalk than a trail, the path isn’t smooth enough and many intersections to cross

Shark Valley Tram Road

FullMoon Ride

July, 2025 by yakfishingfool

We have done a couple of full moon rides here as well as day rides. For full moon check with the park as they sometimes have the entrance opena nd sometimes don't. It is cooler, but it is buggier. Lots of things in the dark squak, hiss and move around, exhilerating!!! We used head lamps and brought water and lots of bug repellant.

Rickenbacker Trail

LOVE THIS TRAIL

July, 2025 by randishannon

I’ve ridden it hundreds of times and dropped 20 pounds—got in the best shape of my life right here! 🚴¿¿¿💪

On weekends, you’ll even find more vendors along the way, which adds a fun and vibrant energy to the ride.

Downside? Cars fly by at 55 mph, and I’ve had a few close calls with distracted drivers. One time, a group of teens even shoved a friend into my path—causing a crash that left me cut up and bruised.

But truthfully? The good far outweighs the bad. This trail has brought me physical strength, mental clarity and so many happy memories.

Ride alert. Ride smart. And if you’re looking to better your health—this is one place to start.
