Chandler Bikeway

love the trail, watch out for stupid people

September, 2021 by californiaman52

One side is for bicycles, the other side for pedestrians. The pedestrians seem to wander all over the place. Point out the signs and they yell at you. very disappointing, have to dodge people all the time. Stay in your lane seems simple...

Marvin Braude Bike Trail

Great bike trails with a lot of ins and outs. Lots of people to look at. Lots of shops. Plenty of restrooms and diners. Good for all day rides.

roundtrip

Completed the entire trail round trip, starting at Temescal Canyon in Will Rogers State Park and rode all the way to the end of the trail in about 4.5 hours… it was both exhausting and wonderful ¿¿

Great workout with Beautiful Scenery!

April, 2021 by yenahski

I ride from my home at the beach on the Santa Monica & Venice Beach border. Going North to the end is 5 1/2 miles.
Going South you can ride forever as it winds past the Marina & then until you drop.
It's a Great ride either North or South, you can't beat it.
One day I'll ride North then the next day South & you'll see something different every day.

nice

There’s tons of homeless camper and some sleeping on the beach, but it didn’t bother me... over all it’s a good ride, especially the weather today !

Ojai Valley Trail

Awesome rail trail!

February, 2021 by pittsracer

I’ve been riding this trail a couple times a week since I found it. With very few interruptions or vehicle crossings, this is a great trail for settling in and peddling away.

San Fernando Road Bike Path

It’s ok

February, 2021 by bitratebabe

There aren’t crosswalks for all of the road crossings so you have to go to the nearest intersection instead. Nice, flat trail that ends in a park and was an easy ride for the kids. Buildings near by have all kinds of industrial smells, so it’s not the nicest bike trail in the world, but it’s good for the area.

Exposition Line Bikeway

a lot of traffic crossings, sudden endings and breaks

January, 2021 by uc4zssfryd

A sad trail in many ways, despite its occasional charms (especially the huge banks of wild fennel and bee balm). Many of our unhoused neighbors spend time on this trail, and it sometimes feels unsafe. There are awkward street crossings regularly. It disappears and reappears regularly. Not a fun trail because there are so many hazards.

Ventura River Trail

Update

October, 2020 by kampfgregory_tl

The old Petro Chem plant which is pictured in the main photo is now (Oct. 2020) being cleaned up. The area is almost cleared and cleaned. What an improvement. Time for a new feature photo.

Ojai Valley Trail

Nice Way to Get to Ojai

October, 2020 by wbenshoof

I started at the Foster Park trailhead. At least on a Wednesday afternoon there was plenty of parking under the bridge just before you get to the trailhead. I was on an ebike and it was an easy uphill cruise, with a gentle slope, all the way to Ojai. When reaching Ojai I would recommend turning around at Montgomery Street. Trail gets pretty junky for the few hundred yards after that. Few
