Enola Low Grade Trail

nice trail

July, 2026 by aldo_desalvo

2 nice bridges and lots of rest areas. There is a lot of chalk that comes up from the trail I just did it on a 100 degree day. That was a mistake. It looks like they added new parking spots. I recommend it

Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail

Nice trail

June, 2026 by adsaxs

Parked at the parking lot of the Warwick Twp Municipal Bldg in Lititz which is MM4 and cycled to the end at Ephrata. There is a bikeshare station in the parking lot, if needed.

The trail surface is a mix of crushed stone/grave and paved and is well-maintained. The trail ends unceremoniously at Ephrata.

On the way back, we stopped at BBQ restaurant along the trail just outside of Ephrata which I would recommend.

I would recommend riding this trail.

Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail

pleasant ride, but ...

June, 2026 by joelkring

This trail is a very pleasant ride, however, riders should be aware that there are no restrictions as far a e-bikes are concerned. I've seen electric bikes that are little less than electric motorcycles. Expect to see electric scooters, but don't expect them to announce themselves before passing. I see many young mothers with their children, either in strollers or on bikes. Its just a matter of time before a fast moving e-bike and a child collide.

Lebanon Valley Rail-Trail

things you should know before riding this trail

June, 2026 by joelkring

For the most part the trail itself is in good condition. There is a rough area near mile marker 3, but its only about 50 yards long and another rough stretch near mile marker 7, just past the Mount Gretna turn off. That section is about 1/4 to 1/2 mile long.
There are multiple portable toilets along the trail, however the one at Lawn ,mile marker 2, is ( and has been for at least a year ) disgusting. also the one at the Root Beer Barrel parking lot has recently gotten worse, but not as bad as Lawn.
There are, as mentioned by others, too many e-bike riders who don't respect others on the trail, They pass without giving warning, ride beyond the posted trail speed limit and most importantly ride other than class 1 e-bikes.
Finally, why do some riders insist on having bright headlights or taillights? I can understand if you are riding on a road, but what purpose do they serve when riding ln a trail?

D&L Trail

Lehigh Gorge rail trail

June, 2026 by cnycyclists

26 flat miles between Jim Thorpe and White Haven. The section from White Haven south to Rockport is crushed stone and we did it on road bikes with 25mm tires no problems. Going north from Jim Thorpe, there were washouts filled with sand and wider tires would have been nice.
The trail goes downhill 1-2% as you head south.

Big Boy 4014 6/13/26

June, 2026 by terryl30

Today has been a rail trail rail fan dream come true. I rode through the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania on the D&L rail trail. To top off the beauty of this area I also got to see up close the historic Union Pacific “Big Boy” 4014. She’s been traversing the country commemorating the 250 birthday of our nation. Needless to say I’ve had my bit of heaven on earth today.

Struble Trail

great short trail

June, 2026 by dalderfer

Very pretty, flat trail. Suggest parking in the lot in Downingtown and following the trail then connecting to the Uwchlan Trail and back. Eagles nest was seen here-multiple photographers out taking photos. Nice memorial site at the beginning-nice place to sit and reflect with beautiful trees. Very pleasant trail.

Upper Bucks Rail Trail

nice easy trail

June, 2026 by dalderfer

We parked at Veteran's park in Richland Twp (trail starts near the flagpole/handicapped parking area behind the baseball fields) and rode this trail that connected seamlessly with the Saucon Rail-Trail about 6.6 miles out to DeSales University and back. E-bike friendly, dog friendly. Would only use a jogging stroller with sturdy wheels. One minute you are in a shady tree lined area with big boulders then suddenly on a short but cute boardwalk to cross a marshy area. Kept it interesting. Few easy road crossings along the way. Relaxing and beautiful ride. So glad for this addition to my community

D&L Trail

White Haven to Black Diamond Trailhead

June, 2026 by sees

Jennifer and I rode the section north of White Haven to Black Diamond Trailhead and then turned around and rode back White Haven on 6/5/2026 for a 21.8-mile ride. If you like to ride thru the woods this section of the trail is a good section for that it is also is a good ride on a hot sunny day, lots of shade. We did not like the parts where there were only 2 dirt paths with grass between them. There is an increase in elevation of approx. 638 feet, to us it was a noticeable grade, it did the return trip more enjoyable. We will ride this section of the trail again.

E Bikes....

May, 2026 by rudytoot99

There are too many fast bikes on these trails. There is going to be an accident where someone get hit by an e bike of these trails. Someone is going to get hurt badly. A guy when by me yesterday with an ebike with two bags on the back side of the bike, he was going over 20 mph and startled me as he went by.
