Rivergreenway

Very nice - a lot of quiet sections

September, 2019 by runforest

Nice surface, it was nice not to be on the roads listening to cars.

Heritage Trail (IN)

Nice but short

September, 2019 by greenfatburner

Started from the trail head at Miller Athletic Complex; plenty of parking. Before I knew it I was at the end of the trail on Roy St. so I just rode the country roads south. Was peaceful as traffic was very light. They have several mountain bike trails which you can get to from Heritage so maybe one day I'll go back for that. Looks like Warsaw is like most cities with several trails. Be nice if they were connected.

Pufferbelly Trail

great trail that connects you to downtown

August, 2019 by whitewolf.sp47

as long as you don’t mind utilizing the sidewalks you can go all the way down to Fort Wayne Outfitters, whereupon the new park just opened up in front of their building! also a means of riding down to Turnstone, where I was a client back in ‘07

Angola Trail

Angola Trail

July, 2019 by mgriffith-55

Not bad for an urban trail. Many street crossings and some travel in a residential area. The map was useful because the trail in those areas is not marked in any way. The crossings are well marked and there is a traffic light where the trail crosses Hwy 127 specifically for the trail. So kudos to the developers there. The trail has been extended so now it goes to and into Pokagon State Park. At least doubling the trail length. As an earlier reviewer stated there are some nice hills.

Pumpkinvine Nature Trail

Wonderful Trail

July, 2019 by brianpcoon

If you start in Goshen, do yourself a favor Abshire Park to start. Very nice trail all around. Very well maintained trail offering plenty of beautiful scenery.

Van Buren Trail State Park

Beautiful But Wet

June, 2019 by miker01

We started at the Hartford trailhead and road in 7 miles, about half way. This end of the trail is primitive two-track through field and swamp. As of the end of June 2019 we had to go through up to 16 inches of water at a couple of points. It was fun for us but not for everyone.

This trail is OK with a gravel or mountain bike. No chance with a road bike. I would not recommend for families with children as the water is too deep. Maybe try in August.

Riverside Trail (IN)

Nice trail - it gets snow plowed!

January, 2019 by rwengel13

I have run all along the St. Joseph River in the South Bend area when visiting . I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this section (riverside trail) was already plowed by 7 am on a Sunday morning (1/13/19) from the previous night’s snowfall. Thank you very much to whichever agency is responsible! You made me so happy!

Can't wait to visit trailway of youth

November, 2018 by jamieennis1

I use to spend hours on the old railway as a teen. I would walk from Washington Center Road past Smith Field all the way out to Gump Road and back. When the rails and ties were pulled the land owners blocked access to the trail. It will be great to see part of it reopened. My son spent hours with me on a bench at the airfield watching the planes land and take off.

North Judson Erie Trail

jbat Aug 2018

August, 2018 by jbatalis

Yes flat nature trail with no facilities unless you go into N Judson but not very helpful at the other end. There were low branches but for the most part clean. Only came across a hand full of people and they were part a youth group ride that were ahead of us. It was a very hot windy day, not the best conditions for cycling. We parked in town unable to find the parking lot with the picnic table which is on Rt 10 east of town pass over trail parking up on right

One of the best perks of living near the Rivergreenway is the ability to commute to work. The Rivergreenway connects most of Fort Wayne. It is well maintained and is a great way to see the city!

North Judson Erie Trail

Nice trail

July, 2018 by ray8

I thought the trail was great but there are many low hanging branches on the north side of the path that really need to be trimmed.

Pumpkinvine Nature Trail

Pumpkinvine

July, 2018 by laurie.jolley

Loved the trail. Beautiful scenery. There was a short distance on roads but all in all one of the best trails I’ve been on. Also, the Amish people riding along the route were so nice, always a smile and a wave.
