Ghost Town Trail

Beware of washout!

September, 2024 by ksjackson

We started out at Dilltown and the washout starts at about Wehrum and continues off and on until you almost reach Belsano. From Nanty Glo to Ebensburg, the trail is good.

Washington's Landing Trail

Very Rocky n Dangerous

September, 2024 by pumpfaking28

I used to frequent this trail for the views. One of the most beautiful Pittsburgh sunrises can be seen from the edge of Washington landings. Well I recently went back and the area just didn’t seem too biker friendly anymore. It seems like the rocks and gravel have tripled. You have to take a very slow and methodical pace to complete this loop. Please be careful when going to Washington Landing

Wellsburg Yankee Trail

Lots of street riding but well marked

August, 2024 by dcsnyder

Came up from Wheeling. We did this trail to the finish as it was only a few miles before the end and turnaround. About half the time on the street. But the town had good signage and what was very impressive was yellow lines on the road! I wish more towns would do that. Older trail and some bumps but I was impressed by the markings. Not very busy on the streets so safe for riding.

Trail Missing Between Johnstown and Conemaugh

August, 2024 by bcrinehart735

We tried following the TrailLink map beginning at the Johnstown Flood Museum. The trail is not well marked. It disappears at the end of Plum Street. This could be a great ride if it were maintained. We ended up following the rail line, riding and walking on ballast until we found ourselves in Conemaugh. We rode to the Spruce Street trailhead in Franklin but decided to end our ride and follow RT 271 back to Johnstown. We would have loved to continue riding north but didn't know what to expect.

Ghost Town Trail

beware of washed out trail

August, 2024 by willikowal

About a mile above vintondale the trail is washed out could be a very dangerous situation. The washout goes beyond where it’s marked and I don’t know what the rest of the trail looks like, but we turned around and went back. It was too much for us. We’re on Rance and it’s not worth rolling them in all the deep, washout places, caution

Three Rivers Heritage Trail

Eclectic Experience

August, 2024 by mbjxftz54j

Unique way to experience the water, rail, industrial, sport, and cityscape of Pittsburgh. Numerous homeless camping out in several places along the trail was only drawback.

Moraine State Park Bike Trail

Took the wife and kids out here today. We made it until the light views pavilions before the 7 year old started to say her legs hurt. About 2 ish miles. Nice ride, absolutely beautiful. My 11 year old was flying down the trails. Highly recommend.
