Spacious Trails throughout lovely master planned communities and quaint downtown Lake Nona.Even connections that are not a part of the trail are fairly wide and an enjoyable ride.
Not a fun ride. Not sure how this is in the rails to trails guide, it would be fine if you needed to commute to work. All you hear is traffic and not much to see; trail is a little quieter once you get to the school. A lot of the pavement has roots, asphalt is in need of repair and there are poor transitions to the streets. Caution on the crosswalk as some cars ignore the crosswalk signal even while the lights are flashing. Lots of better trails to choose from in FL

I rode this trail today and it was really nice. The surface is packed sand and I had no problems riding on it with my smaller hybrid tires. In 15 miles I probably only had 5 total cars pass me . The scenery was very nice along the water and through the jungle. There were some areas with homes along the way.
Looks like most of the trail is cut and parts of it are graded. There is creek bridge installed - not ready for primetime yet.
Anyone have an update on the completion of the Osteen Maytown Rd section.. The last time I rode that section part of it had the rock base on it and part still being cut through woods... Thanks Chris
We enjoy the Flagler trail - I personally have tumbled on the roots on every run but if you step higher or don’t mind a bit of dirt, it is a very pretty and easy flat run along the creek and through the tree canopies. You can easily get a 5, 10k or 1/2 marathon trail run in. Go during dry season. Also very nice for hybrid/dirt bikes or walks.
Nice trail to ride and three different options to take. I did Edgewood to Titusville and back, total 70 ‘miles. I stopped at the Philly Cheese Steak restaurant for a good cheese steak, the place was very welcoming. Decided not to do the Cape bridge but should have, next time. The pit stop at the intersection is catered to cyclists with water, fruit, bike kits, everything you will need for a ride. It’s an honor system so donate as much as possible VERGIES PITSTOP THANK YOU I NEED THAT cold water and banana. Will do the trail again to complete a century ride which this track is designed to complete. Trail was nice and clean and full of nature with animals. Many’s snakes and turtles. A couple of gators in the creek
My wife & I rode this trail today. We loved it. We parked at the Pelican Wildlife Refuge & rode south the entire length & back. 15 miles in 1.5 hours. Very few street crossings, a few bumpy spots.
Really nice trail. Two feed stations which is so nice that people set these up for the trail users. I did this on two separate days to complete. Lots of variety of landscape, some is forested, some swamps and some open but rural sections. Just great overall.
This is a very flat trail with good, wide pavement. The westerly half is particularly rural, skirting large cattle ranches with oak hammocks. There are no trees for shade. There are many birds on this trail - hawks, herons, killdeer, kingfishers, storks, egrets, etc. - and the occasional alligator. It’s a good trail for spinning. Be sure to wear sunscreen.
Trail is average.. no much to see.. 90% of the trail is next to a busy road... Trail is not road bike friendly... ok if you have mountain bike.. I will not recommend!!
