This trail is tucked away and is never very crowded. Numerous park benches around the trail and and the views are exceptional. Lots of wildlife.
Great ttail. Follow it from Titusville to Lake Mary in March 3026. Other trails were also rode.
Wonderful trail. Do t forget get to stop at Vergi’s Pit Stop in Oak Hill. Best part of the trip!
Used to be nice and peaceful, now flooded with yankees on E bikes. Move back up north please!
Today Valentines Day was a gorgeous day for 17 of us Happy Wanderers to ride twenty miles of this trail.
Me and my family drove an hour to get there for the bike trail. We parked by the dock parking which was beautiful to see. Lots of scenic views. When we start to ride the trail it took us out on the main road, about 2mins in the ride we end up on a road closer that we could not go around. That was the end of our ride.
We road from Maytown to Osteen grabbed some breakfast and headed back. (32 miles round trip) The trail is in perfect condition. No standing water. The weather could not have been any better. It was actually a little cool in the morning with the shade but warmed up on the way back with a perfect mix of sun and shade. We saw some large turkeys and a good size alligator on the side of the trail sunning.
I’ve ridden the trail a few times, and often continue down Turtle Mound Road at the end of the trail to Eau Gallie Boulevard, and back through the Zoo trail. It ends up being ~10mi. I highly recommend!
This wasn't really a trail. Just a side walk in a neighborhood. You do pass a church, golf course, playground, elementary school, tennis court, and little league sport complex. It was okay. Just felt like walking in my neighborhood. Sidewalk minimally maintained, but wide, bathroom at the sports complex but has hours.
Our take on this trail, is we loved it! We started at the south end, stopped at the historic house and pier. The trail is a dirt road that travels along the Indian River. You really feel like you are back in the woods or in the country. The river is along one side and the back yards of these lovely homes are on the other side. There are beautiful golf courses along there as well. We have E-bikes, so we enjoyed the straight stretches to “open them up.” We rode north to the preserve and headed back.
We loved this little trail! Hit it in the morning while staying over on Vero Beach. Short but sweet!
